Go, Rush. He was late in wading into the fray around Terri Schiavo's judicial homicide, but once he became engaged he's been an articulate and well-informed commentator.Exactly. I remember him saying last Friday that he was not up to speed on the topic so he let his callers do most of the talking. In the days since he has surpassed most out there in being able to succinctly talk about what this issue means for America.
I appreciate Rush's thoughts because he never fails to bring a fresh/different angle to the discussion.

Several of the callers this afternoon have given me chills. Aside from this case, the attitude that the Judiciary branch of government is superior to the other two should scare the bejebus out of Americans. If a single judge can override the votes of the majority, either directly or through their elected representatives, we no longer live in a Republic. And this is happening more frequently.
And I agree with Rush and the poster above regarding the issue of Judicial intrusion into our lives. How many policies and taxes across this country have been mandated by the branch least accountable to the people?
