SYDNEY (Reuters) - With the help of the Catholic Church, Australian researchers have successfully grown adult stem cells harvested from the human nose, avoiding the ethical and legal problems associated with embryonic stem cells.

Well this is all fine and dandy, but what's Michael Jackson supposed to do? Perhaps some cells taken from his "stem" may help grow a cute little nose replacement that grows like pinochhio every time he gazes at a young boy.

Doing research in a controversial area is delicate -- you don't want to blow it. But, by picking carefully, you can find places to explore. But even a honking big discovery like this won't be covered by MSM. You'd think they would run all day with a story like this. But I don't see any running here.
