It's not what's wrong with the judges, areafiftyone, they would ask, "What's wrong with you, not being on board the euthanasia train, pulling out of Pinellas Park, FL?" The American people, by polls, support the Democrat minority in Congress on killing poor Terri.

Polls??? Polls that the DUers have hit twenty times per person yesterday? I was lurking on DU and yesterday they had all the polls from all the media outlets on their board and were DUing them (like we Freep them). The majority of the responses to the polls were the DUers of Death! I wouldn't call that fair polling.

....sure would like to know where those polls were taken...perhaps Massachusetts and New York? Don't believe the polls....look at what the Polls said about Kerry being elected president.

It doesn't even really matter what the majority of the Amurrican Pipple support. They have been brainwashed by the culture of death. We must re-educate them. And no, to the other poster, we will never accept the so-called "trial judge's" ruling. He is not fit to be on the bench. He is a Kevorkian in black robes. The only fit clothing for him is an orange jump suit. How long till he finds his next "show case?"

Well, we all learned that you cannot trust polls during the election, so what makes you think that the pollsters are reliable and unbiased now?

That's because they're not getting all the facts. They only listen to the news. And I think that says it all in itself.

The polls are inaccurate, because most people don't know the facts of the case. Most people refer to people are really ARE brain dead, as shown by an EEG (which Terri never had) and only machines keep them breathing and their heart beating, and they already are at end stages of incurable diseases. There is a big difference between letting go of a person like that, vs. murdering Terri, who has not had therapy, didn't even have all the proper tests, and she is NOT on "life support", which IS defined as breathing machines, etc. Terri probably could even swallow and eat on her own, with therapy. And her parents want to take care of her and assume responsibiilty.

I am very, very skeptical of polls, I think the liberal media knows exactly who to go to, to get the poll results they need and therefore influence public opinion. We only have to remember the infamous exit polls. I do not believe the majority of Americans getting the true facts of this case would want this woman killed. However you wrap it up that's what it would be.

I understand the spirit in which you wrote to areafiftyone. The American people are sadly underinformed about the facts and until they know the facts, polling them is worse than useless.

Were the American people rightly informed and informed in depth about the facts of the case, I would like to see another few polls on the subject.

Has anyone considered how many Americans are struggling with guilt over pulling the plug on their own elder relatives, or ambivalence on how to treat their still alive but aged and very ill parents or other relatives? That surely seemed to influence more than a couple Congressmen.

I don't know how the polls went about getting people to support the killing of Terri, but I do know, they DON'T support the killing.
