Still breaking....
No. But rumor has it if he testifies, a new one will grow.
lol
Well, mostly the media sucks.
"Stop. Those in the "kill Terri" crowd probably are people of goodwill who believe the medical findings that she's in a PVS. That is not evil and it is not completely unreasonable."
No-one who considers that it is acceptable to starve and dehydrate another human being to death is a person "of goodwill". The issue of whether she is in PVS or not is totally irrelevant - she is a human being and therefore it can bever be legitimate to murder her under any circumstances.
This isn't esoteric Catholic doctrine - it is straight forward application of the natural law to which all non-psycopaths have access by way of their conscience and reason.
Any thought or argument which would suggest that this woman should be denied food and water is, of itself, utterly evil and those who entertain them will answer to Almighty God for them.
I think it is very relevant.
Yes, MJ has a new no nose.
"The issue of whether she is in PVS or not is totally irrelevant
I think it is very relevant."
It is in your gift to think what you want, but it is not in your gift to think that and claim to be in communion with the Catholic Church. If you think that a diagnosis of "PVS" legitimises murder, then you need to repent and ask God's forgiveness in the Sacrament of Penance.
I didn't say I think a diagnosis of PVS legitimizes murder.
Typical of the twisting I pointed out earlier.
Thank you for eloquently stating the response I've been struggling to develop throughout this thread. I think you're spot on. It can never be 'ok' to starve another human being for any reason at any time under any circumstances, and no man of 'goodwill' would ever consider it appropriate to do so.
Why does everything happen in Florida?
They didn't say ill again.
They just said he wouldn't appear for the usual Wednesday Angelus.
**How did this Pope ill thread turn into a another Terri thread?**
Good question! Thanks for asking it.
No it wouldn't. There are no coincidences with God.
Because the Florida judiciary is making euthanasia of the "useless" a right of society. No way John Paul gets that tracheotomy in Florida five years from now. He'd be left to suffocate on his own mucous instead.
Terri is on almost everyone's mind today.
Even Michael Schiavo. He was overheard a minute ago asking, "Is the bitch dead yet?"
Bingo. Sr. Lucia - inexorably tied to JPII - passes away on Feb. 13. Shortly thereafter, the Pope becomes deathly ill, as a landmark case of diginity for the suffering and vulnerable comes to a head in Florida - a seemingly local issue that would become a worldwide battle over the dignity of life. Terri Schiavo is put before Florida's version of Pontius Pilate, who punts on first down instead of running for the end zone and saving this woman's life. Now it's up to the remainder of the tyrannical judiciary to decide the issue. Meanwhile, Terri suffers silently. The Pope, suffers silently. And we are all called to reflect on the rememberance of Someone Else who suffered silently almost 2000 years ago...
No coincidences.
I can't wait to hear Michael Schiavo's comment --- let the Pope die.
What you wrote is so beautiful and so true!
