Today is the 21st of March. The first day of the most beautiful season of the year, spring, and we celebrate our new year along with the start of this season.
Today is also the first day of Norooz. Persian new year starts on 21st of March every year. And I just wanted to take advantage of being on Freerepublic.com to share my happinness with you and wish you all the best.
And I am hoping for a change in my country. I am wishing to have freedom in this coming year. And I wish prosperity for my people who live under the illegal rule of the terrorist Mullahs. I hope we become free in this coming year and I extend my hand of friendship to my American friends here on Fr.
Please accept my congratulations on this nice event and let's hope that there is a better future for the people living in this world.
Happy new persian year, happy norooz.
Saleh Nou Mobarak.
Salute to you! Happy Season!
We second your wish for a wonderful new year for you and your fellow countrymen. Happy Norooz (haven't had occasion to say that before :)
I wish peace and liberty to you and yours.

Kashayar, we wish for this new year to be the year that Freedom comes to stay in your beloved land.

Happy New Persian Year to you & your countrymen, Khashayar.
Prayers & very best wishes to you in your fight for Freedom. Please know that many Americans are standing with you as you continue in the fight.
Persian ping.
Your profile page is VERY interesting and informative. Thank you for putting so much work into it. I have sent the link to my sons so they can learn more about the Kingdom of Persia.
Naw Ruz is also celebrated as the Bahai New Year.
Thank you very much and I hope the profile can let them know more about my beautiful country!
We've invited a few dozen freinds over to the house for a Naw Ruz (our spelling) party tonight (20 March 10 am here). Only trouble is that there are two other Naw Ruz parties going on in the area so we're not sure how much food to prepare.
Yep but Norooz (not Naw ruz) is originally Persian and does not belong to any religion!
The bahaism is around 200 years old while Norooz is more than 3000 years old.
