More description of video:

N-TV of Japan would air this video today(03/16/05) at 5:25pm, in a program, 'News Plus 1.'

Mar 1, 2005, in Hoiryong City. Crowds were gathered up by the authorities for the public execution. According to N-TV estimate, the crowds numbered thousands. On this day, security/police agents in Hoiryong showed up at various places in the city, rounding up people and sent them to the public execution site.

Some people at the site are sitting on their bike, watching the execution.
The car shown here carries a loud speaker through which the proceeding of public trials is broadcast(to the crowd.)
Two prisoners were tied to their poles(It was verified that they are Choi Jae-gon, and Park Myong-gil, workers at "Jan. 17" Factory.)
One on the left slumps forward after being shot.

A prisoner transport vehicle for prisoners is shown.
Eleven prisoners are led out to the trial site.

Re #1

As of this moment, the original source article of The Daily NK is difficult to reach, due to heavy traffic(or could be a sabotage by somebody.) Still, the pictures in the article, which are included in this post, can get through heavy traffic much better than the entire article itself.

I hope that the network traffic situation would improve as time passes by.

Re #1

Correction:

(1) In the 3rd picture from the bottom, the phrase 'snapshot 1' at the end is redundant.

(2) The bottom picture is snapshot 3.

Which one of the anti-iraq war protest groups was a big supporter of North Korea again?

What the hell are these people so afraid of? It has to be fear that motivates them to such violence.

The North Koreans should remember that the US has a military presence that is ready to respond on a moments notice---and respond with violence.

Make no mistake, if North Korea makes a move, the US and the South will respond in kind.

Re #12

I am not exactly sure. However, in N. Korea, it is not uncommon to have factories named after a certain date. I will let you know if I find out.:)

Yes, but not something the NKs would celebrate:
January 17, 1991 - Start of Operation Desert Storm

Yes. Kim Jong Il got his first shipment of Viagra but unfortunately took it simultaneously with Ex-Lax, which resulted in the miserable little SOB not knowing if he was coming or going, hence: public executions to sate his rage.

Considering that is North Korea, those executed prisoners will make "good eating".

I'm as pro-life as you get.

If you want to see those pictures, stand out front of a Promise Keepers rally.
