Well OK. You seem to have a lot of information and some pretty strong opinions on this subject. I'd be more interested in your personal truths than your suppositions and slights against others. Flaglady has no obligations to you. FR is a good forum, when we respect each other.
Yes ma'am.
BTW, my offer to discuss Scientology either by FReepmail or in an open forum remains open, should you ever have any interest in this.

Sorry, Greer is no Lutheran. He may be a LINO, but everything he's doing is completely contrary to Lutheran doctrine. Be aware that the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is apostate, and so are large portions of the Missouri Synod at this point.
I am a lifelong Lutheran, so I have a basis for my remarks.
Greer got the award FROM Scientology, as I understand it. It was simply PRESENTED by this lawyer.
Greer's and Michael's possible association with Scientology would completely explain the discrepancies in the case that I did not understand.
Michael's no Lutheran, either!
Ping.

I would think she'd simply say 'no' and be done with it instead of dancing around the question for such a long time.
The scientology angle could explain a lot about this case.
It's hard to explain otherwise why a man and his backers would work so hard to kill a person they claim is an unfeeling vegetable and at the same time, illogically claim it's 'cruel' to keep a 'thing' that 'cannot feel' alive. How can one be cruel to something that cannot feel the difference between humane treatment and inhumane treatment? They can't admit she can respond to pain without also conceding she can experience pleasure, love and joy, and any effort to murder her is the only sure way to deny her these experiences.
If she's beyond caring about anything, what difference does it make if she lives or dies to Michael Schiavo, except to fufill his own pointless vanity at the expense of Terri and her family? His backers want us to accept the idea that Michael is doing it all because he loves her and 'she wanted to die' when by their own arguments she can't want anything now and hasn't since her collapse. If she is a vegetable then she's not capable of wanting anything and there is no point in fanatically planning and pushing for her death when it would be more gracious and honorable to let the parents take a shot at helping her so they, too can have closure.
It takes a fanatic to deny a family -however much he might dislike them for disagreeing with him- their last chance with their daughter when the only thing at stake, at least according to him, is a vague past desire on the part of a person who supposedly no longer has desires.
But thinking back on the previous history of the scientology crowd, and reflecting upon what's on this thread about their view of disabled people as some kind of threat to the living, it makes sense that they fear disabled people enough to go to extremes. It's as if they are afraid their souls might accidently slip into a disabled person's body and get stuck there.
I wish I had read more on scientology- I hadn't realized just how much influence it has. Thanks for sharing.
More on Greta and Scientology

Thank you for adding one more item to the growing list of conflicts of interest of Judge Greer.
Does Greta Van Susteren, a Scientologist, reporting on this case for Fox, have a similar conflict of interest?
How could you get your thrills of seeing Terri "beautifully" starve to death?
Scientologist theology is not kind to the disabled. She likes that kind of ethics?
Whoa, it's the HINO that purports to be a Luciferan (er, Lutheran)
I didn't know that Greta was a Scientologist, and for the record I've never watched her program, assuming that she has one.
I just discovered an article posted on FR: " The Bias of Judge George Greer - Dirty Connections." I'll find it and ping you.
Greer is a Baptist. I've seen various posts and heard various things about how he was asked to leave his church over the Schiavo case, and I have no inside info. I've read that he never attended but donated. I've heard that he was "devastated" over being asked to leave. It's Michael who is described as Lutheran.
Thanks for posting this. I knew Scientology was involved, but I didn't know what its specfic beliefs were regarding the disabled and death. Truly a frightening (and powerful) cult.
Wrong-O.
Greer was a member of a local Baptist church, and he quit the church after the pastor gave a few pointed sermons about killing the disabled.
While the judge may or may not be a Scientologist, or an active worshiper of Lucifer, that Felos character should be at the top of the dangerous-loon list.
