I always love seeing our President be who he is - gracious even to someone who had the "Ws" taken off the white house keyboards the day Bush was inaugurated.

It WAS a great speech!

And a free and peaceful Lebanon would be so helpful in working toward peace in Israel I think. One less place for militants to work from. That could be so good for our mission in that part of the world.

Hey, Dolly! I've got the speech on tape and haven't had a chance to hear it all (though I read it all).

It's fantastic!

Good evening, OWF. It was a busy news day, today. I was able to see the Presiden't foreign policy speech live, and it was very good.

Not so sure that Lebanon is going to be resolved quickly.

However, Egypt, Kuwait, and probably Saudi will have free-er elections thanks to the Iraqi people showing such courage.

The trumpet of freedom has been sounded, and that trumpet never calls retreat. (Applause.)

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never sound retreat,
He is sifting out the hearts of men before the judgement seat,
O be swift, my soul to answer Him! Be jubilant my feet!
Our God is marching on!

Glory! Glory, hallelujah! Glory! Glory, hallelujah!
Glory! Glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on!

There was something so earnest about the President today.

His tone was a little different and the speech was beautifully delivered.
