say they are concerned about White supremacists and other extremists joining the effort.

Translated that means anyone who opposes open borders, and anyone who wants American politicians to uphold the law.

>>>>I smell a double standard lurking here....

I didn't write the article. The vigilantes is the left wing propaganda.

I posted this article because it was the only public piece out there about the infiltration.

Or do you have a problem with information being passed on?

Who cares if white supremacists go? If they wanted they could go right now and shoot mexicans at the border. The people who dont want the borders patrolled are just grabbing for any excuse to stop them from going to patrol. If law enforcement doesnt do its job then the people have to. They shouldnt even bother calling the border patrol when they catch an illegal.

>>>> If you can't be POSITIVE about anything.... Then get out of the way; let people that want to keep the AMERICAN DREAM alive for the next generation, have a chance to do what is necessary; the government sure isn't.

I'm sorry, was I in your way?

How about if I move over here? Is that out of your way?

Or would you prefer to have NO information passed on to those that need to know?

They aren't worried about illegals or extremists, they are worried at the disruption to the drug supplies. There must be a major route in the area.

If the govt. did their job we wouldn't need volunteers.

"Or do you have a problem with information being passed on?"

Do I detect a wee bit of paranoia??? I was simply referring to the simple fact that many in this forum will sing high praises for those that will defend (to include killing) their private property yet condemn those that see America as their home and wish to defend its borders. That's the double standard. Perhaps we should label those that defend their personal property vigilanties also. Additionally, is the person that defends their home a racists if they stop or shoot an intruder of a different race or nationality?

Are the Southern Poverty Law Center involved with Simcox?

We're certainly embarrassed by it," Simcox said of the Aryan Nation's interest in his group's patrol.

Hedi Beirich, deputy director of the Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center, is skeptical of Minuteman organizers' claims that they will be able to weed out White supremacists

I misread this.
SPLC is skeptical of Minuteman organizers' claims.

I hope with the hundreds of various Law Enforcement Officials and former Military Experts focusing on the same project, my money's on them. Of course if you use profiling to weed out White Supremecists Skinheads then you'll probably be guilty of violating some UN human rights treaty. So leave all treaties at home. Carry a Pocket Constitution for reference.

What in the hell is a "double lurker?" I suggest you step away from the keyboard for a day or two.

Unless you own and live on the public street, these vigilante patrols are not happening inside your home. The first time a U.S. citizen gets accosted and held against her will, it will be the end of their little drunken crusade.

Your post.

To: Calpernia

"When people act as vigilantes, they put themselves at risk, they put other law-abiding citizens at risk, and they put law enforcement at risk," he said."

Why is it when you want to observe and report "illegals" crossing the border you're a "vigilante", but yet when you shoot and kill an invader illegally entering your home or business you're a hero?

I smell a double standard lurking here....

Read his post again. He said simply: "I smell a double standard lurking here...." He didn't call you personally a smelly double-lurker. He was in no way even referring to you, but merely pointing out the inconsistency (in his mind) of being called a 'vigilante' for reporting people walking down the street versus defending one's own home with deadly force and being awarded a medal by the local sheriff.
