If you are talking about German Nazis, only Jews - men, women, children - were targeted absolutely, indiscriminately and at all times. Many others were persecuted, but level and intensity of persecution was never the same.

There is time for commemoration of all victims of Nazi Germany - WWII V-day May 8-9th.

I agree that there should be a day for remembering victims of communism. I would suggest November 7th - anniversary of October revolution in Russia. But it is a separate day - there is not need to mix everything together.

I noticed this thread while searching for some posts and links. You are mistaken in your opinions about the Romani people. They were targeted equally with the Jews and suffered an even greater percentage of deaths than the Jews. You may find the first link interesting. It is concerning the trend to minimise the Romani suffering in the Holocaust.
