Johnson said he had lived at three different addresses in Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis and thought he was entitled to vote in each precinct where he had lived. A Democrat, no doubt...

But remember - we must be certain that EVERY vote counts.
Poor Darin would have been disenfranchised had not all three of his votes been counted!

I guess a Republican running for President needs to get a large marging of victory to overcome all the Democrat voter fraud, as well as the phonomenon in close races of recounting the votes until the Democrat wins, while searching for "undiscovered votes" that might be lying around.

You can damn well bet..if voted for Republican, it
would be headlines in NY Times..and a Dan Rather
lead story..or Andy "the Dandy" Rooney. Wonder if
Fox News could pick up on this? Jake

Johnson said he had lived at three different addresses in Brooklyn Park and Minneapolis and thought he was entitled to vote in each precinct where he had lived. Even a second grader couldn't get away with that excuse.

Believe me, if this guy had been a Republican it would not only be in the article, it would be the NYT's front page lead for a week.

Man charged with voting three times
If he was found to have voted Republican, you KNOW the headline would be
Man charged with voting three times for Bush, Whitehouse has no comment

After reading the headline, I thought this had to be referring to Washington State. Seems we're leading the nation in vote fraud.

can't see the entire article. does the article state that he voted Dem? If the article doesn't state,
Rakkasan1, since you can see the article, can you email the editor and ask him why he didn't specify which party the dumb ass voted for three times?
Enquiring minds want to know.

funny how they never tell us who he was voting (repeatedly) for...Well of course, technically we can't know that, since it's supposed to be a secret ballot.
But you're right, the reporter should be able to tell us whether this guy registered as a Republican, Democrat, or whatever.
Minnesota FReepers: If you "fill[] out same-day registration forms," as the article states Johnson did, do you have to check a box that you are registering as a Republican, Democrat, or 'other'?

Is this the
only example of someone, somewhere actually being
charged with voter fraud in the 2004 election?
Like seawater to drink, it is voter fraud, voter fraud everywhere, but none of it to court.

It should be 10 years in prison for anyone committing purposeful fraud. No parole.
This has to stop.
