"I want every elected official in Indiana to know going in that when they try to impose restrictions on private businesses, the Libertarian Party will be there to hold them accountable," Klopfenstein said.
The sentiment is appreciated, but I doubt Indiana officials are afraid of the Libertarian Party.

Good Luck Indiana........you'll need it. This crap always starts in NY(my own people republic) and CA and winds up eventually making its way to the rest of the country.....
if you don't already have seat belt, helmet, and Cell Phone driving laws, LOOK OUT.....

I'm here in Upstate NY right now, but I'm trying to make my way to NH as soon as possible.
Things I promise not to bring with me are seat belt laws, smoking bans, cell phone laws, motorcycle helmet laws, gun control, etc.
What I WILL bring is the desire to fight that stuff and expand personal and economic freedoms in NH!

The LP is looking mighty good. Thats right. The LP is the only party in America today that recognizes all your individual rights, to include the right to secede. We recognize the rights of not only states, but all individual people to join together in groups, or as lone individuals, and secede from any government. No other party is working for your absolute rights as an individual as the LP does.

The libertarian arm of the GOP would be a force to be reckoned with if the task of organizing libertarians wasn't like trying to herd cats.
Much as the evangelicals in the GOP love to demonize the libertarians for our stance regarding the failed and destructive War on (some) Drugs, we're still their best allies against the statist, totalitarian Left.

Good job. Someone has to fight the Statists, especially now that many Republicans seem to be turning that flavor.
To: freepatriot32
ROFL!
I think too many Americans are waking up to the tyranny of the Democrat-Republican big government machine to be duped by that smear much longer.
Looking forward to a Libertarian in the White House in 2008!

I admire your optimism but think it will be 2012 at the earliest before we have a shot at getting a libertarian president in the white house or congress
