America's top radio talker Rush Limbaugh was greeted like a rock star on Monday during an appearance in San Jose, California, while taking a few days off from his regular broadcast to play in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf tournament.
The packed house at the San Jose Civic Auditorium "welcomed him with a standing ovation," reported the San Jose Mercury News. "There were no hecklers or protesters, and the only shouts were of love for the host," the paper said.
"We are in the midst of a seminal historic shift in this country," Limbaugh told the audience. "The Democrat party and the media have lost their monopoly. They don't rule the roost anymore."
The watershed political moment would have amazed his father, the top talker observed. "If my father could see what's happened today, just the sight of the Democrat party would extend his life by 10 years."
That's one reason conservatives have nothing to fear from Hillary Clinton, he assured those on hand.
Still, the GOP faces a major political problem that can no longer be ignored, he warned. "The Republicans' failure to understand the American people's building rage on illegal immigration" could give rise to a third party candidate, he said, who could tip the 2008 presidential race to the Democrats, much the same way Ross Perot's campaign did in 1992.
Limbaugh also seemed to revise earlier criticism of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for not being conservative enough, telling the audience, "I was wrong."
2,700 people paid $40 a piece to see Limbaugh live. Proceeds from the event will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a charity Limbaugh has supported since he went national in 1988.

Rush the band, the hardest rocking trio of all time, puts satanic symbols on their album covers. I dig 'em too but I am a lot more carefull about what I listen to now than I used to be. That's why I tune into Rush the Limbaugh quite often.
Now if Rush is a cino because he did not bring up this issue then by using your own logic that would then make President Bush a cino. Since President Bush did not bring up the Form 180 issue either during the campaign or in the Presidential debates when he was running against John F***ing Kerry when it mattered the most which was during the actual election!
Secondly if Rush is such a cino and has no creditability as you say then why in the world would you want him to bring up the issue because it would be meaningless by your own words for Rush to do so. So I am at a lost as to what your point is.
IMHO it would have more impact and carry more weight for The Swift Boat Vets and people such as Representative Duke Cunningham and yourself to tackle The French Looking Senator John Kerry on this issue. Because then it is backing down from other veterans and the MSM can not readily spin it as just right wing hate radio going after him. The other thing why should Rush give him a free forum and free publicity so he can play the victim of the so called right wing cabal that is out to get him.
With all due respect, that's just the way the PC-crowd wants you to think - once they get you used to saying it their way, they have you on the way to indoctrination :) I just cant help myself - i abhor any and all things to do with political correctness and liberal mentality, and reject out-of-hand even the slightest deviation into that mindset - especially speech deviation.

So now John Kerry has told both Tim Russert on "Meet the Press" and Don Imus on his morning MSNBC-broadcast radio show that he will sign Standard Form 180. But when? Sometime before 2008, when he has to run for re-election in Massachusetts for the Senate?
A group has formed to help Kerry out. Called "KerrysTreason.com," the group has created a website on which they have archived Standard Form 180, in PDF format. The group is calling for a campaign to flood Kerry's Senate office with SF180s sent in from all over America. The website gives Kerry's Washington office address and lists specific instructions for printing the SF180 and sending it in.

But that still brings up the problem. I fail to see what your point about Rush is on this thread. On one hand you bring up the deal that Rush has not mentioned the Form 180 issue the on his show then on the other you are saying he has no credibility so why would you want him to bring it up then. Why do you even listen to his show for that matter. If Rush is a cino then by your logic President Bush a cino since he did not bring up the Form 180 during his campaign when it mattered the most.You can not have it both ways.
I think you need to learn how to pick your targets better. Rush is an ally of the conservative movement. From reading your posts Rush seems to be a bigger threat than Kerry which is utter nonsense. Rush has been out for more than 15 years hammering the MSM and the left giving rise to the new media and more Conservative voices being added to the mix. He was also a big factor in the 1994 Republican Revolution that made it possible for us to have control of the three main branches of government today.

I was a POW of the Vietnamese in Hanoi in 1971, and I am aware that the testimony of John Kerry, the actions of Jane Fonda and Tom Hayden, and the radical left; all caused the commies to conclude that if they hung on..they would win. North Vietnamese General Bui Tin commented that every day the Communist leadership listened to world news over the radio to follow the growth of the anti-war movement. Visits to Hanoi by Jane Fonda and Ramsey Clark gave them confidence to hold in the face of battlefield reverses. The guts of it was that propaganda from the anti-war group was part of their combat strategy.
While the Commies were hanging on, innumerable U.S. Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Air Foce members were being killed in combat. Every battle wound to Americans after Kerry's misdirected testimony is related to Kerry's untruthfulness. John Kerry contributed to every one of these deaths with his lies about U.S. atrocities in Vietnam. He likewise defamed the U.S. with our allies and supporters.
His conduct also extended the imprisonment of the Vietnam Prisoners of War, of which I was one. I am certain of at least one POW death after his testimony, which might have been prevented with an earlier release of the POWs.

John Kerry opened up his character as a war hero reporting for duty to the country with a hand salute...and his band of brothers..of which he was the chief hero. Most of his convention speech was about John Kerry..Vietnam hero, and his band of brothers. John Kerry's character is not only fair game, it is the primary issue. He wants to use Bill Clinton's "is", as an answer to his lack of character.
The issue is trust. Can anyone trust John Kerry?? "Never lie, cheat or steal" is the West Point motto. When a witness perjures himself at trial, the judge notes that his testimony lacks crediblity. Should we elect a known proven liar to lead us in wartime??
I draw a direct comparison of General Benedict Arnold of the Revolutionary War, to Lieutenant John Kerry. Both went off to war, fought, and then turned against their country. General Arnold crossed over to the British for money and position. John Kerry crossed over to the Vietnamese with his assistance to the anti-war movement, and his direct liason with the Vietnamese diplomats in Paris. His reward. Political gain. Senator..United States.
His record as a Senator for twenty years has been pitiful. Conjure up, if you will, one major bill that he has sponsored.
