Will Smith admits he can imagine cheating on his wife - but only with her permission.
The Men In Black star said he and Jada Pinkett Smith agreed they would warn each other and ask for approval if they felt the need to sleep with someone else.
'Our perspective is, you don't avoid what's natural. You're going to be attracted to people,' said Smith, 36.
'In our marriage vows, we didn't say, "forsaking all others". The vow we made was that you will never hear I did something after the fact.'
Eva Mendes, his co-star in his new movie Hitch, was 'freaking gorgeous', he added. But his marriage was strong - they still behaved like newlyweds.
'I don't let a day go past that Jada doesn't feel like the queen of the world,' Smith insisted.
Despite putting high-paced action films behind him, he said he still lifts weights daily and runs at least 5km four or five times a week.
Ping!
Anti-man
Good plan, Will, stick with the running.
Real mean don't run kilometers - real men run miles.
;->
Why just get a "hall pass" or offer coupons? It's so much more convenient.
I'd ask my wife if I could cheat too, but there are guns in the home and she knows how to use them.
I treat my wife like a queen too. Just ask me.
But... if it's with permission, then it's not "cheating"...
5K = 3.1 miles.
I`m trying to get back into that. Gotta quit smoking first which has been freggin` hell on earth for me. When I get the urge so much I`m practically climbing the walls, I go for a walk/run which immediately kills the desire to smoke. When you`re outta breath, the last thing you want is a cigarette. Been smoking 22 years, started when I was 20 and I must have been out of my mind to let it go that long. And the sad part is in High school I was on the cross country team and I literally use to run 20 miles a day in the summer to train. 5 in the morning, 10 in the afternoon, and 5 at night, then after I graduated I got caught up with the wrong people. "Come on, have a cigarette" I wish they would ban that crap, nicotine is absolutely the most addictive substance on this planet. I go literally nuts with withdrawal, and I tried everything, the patch the pill the gum. Running again though seems to be working.
Real men can control themselves...
What a wimp.
I can see why SHE wants to keep options
"'Our perspective is, you don't avoid what's natural."
They must feel so enlightened!
Vows to who?
Just what good are "vows" these days? If you make a "vow" in front of God, and ask God to be your witness, does this not mean you also vow to uphold what God asks of you?
One of God's commandments is that thou shalt not commit adultry.
Strange how some people expect God to validate their marriage, ask God to honor it, protect it, bless it, yet these people haven't the strength or commitment to honor either their vows to God or each other. I don't know how "to honor and respect" "to love and cherish" can be achieved while cheating on your wife.
Sounds like they have a sham of a marriage.
What do you think his son thinks of that.
Good luck with it. My experience at your age was that when I totally quit nicotine (those patches are nicotine too, and may help you quit smoking but may also extend the withdrawal), that it is no worse than the flu for about 3 days. That and the realization that after the first few hours, a cigarette makes you feel horrible rather than better. Those ideas kept me on track for that week. After that, only the second on mattered and new habits were established.
Good luck...
