Saddam's Ties to Al Queda by Sam Pender (Huge Compilation of Iraq Al Qaeda Links)
Amazon ^ | January 2005 | Sam Pender

Posted on 02/03/2005 8:04:50 PM PST by Stultis

Could it have started with a stack of old maganzines and this tour de force vanity posted on FreeRepublic, and grown into nearly 700 pages and over 20 appendices? Not entirely. His previous books, including Iraq's Smoking Gun certainly indicate Mr. Pender has taken in far more than back issues of U.S. News and Time.

I don't have the new book yet myself, but thought I'd give freepers who do (and of course the author) an opportunity to comment.

Here's an excerpt from one of the customer reviews on Amazon:

He also includes a gigantic amount of information from government publications and some of his timelines in the appendices (the book's worth buying just for the appendices). I think what I come away with the most is just a better understanding of what the relationship between Saddam and Al Queda really was. Up until now, the Iraq War's been so politicized by both Republicans and Democrats that I just didn't know what to believe. Now, I understand why both parties can get away with making the claims they do. It's a great read. If you're against the war, you won't like Pender's conclusions, but you'll have to admire the pure information he presents. If you don't understand how Iraq fits into the War on Terror, then you definately will after reading this. This book's a MUST HAVE for any collection on the war.

I sure would like for someone to post a list of all the books (fiction and non-fiction) that freepers have had published. I'd like to have a library apart, with just freeper's books (good ones and poor ones, I don't care). My son and I were discussing last night how his daughter will someday find the books I've purchased so far and wonder what that 'freerepublic of freepers' was. [Of course, BKO's books should be in the stack!]

"and wonder what that 'freerepublic of freepers' was."

Your daughter won't have to wonder. FreeRepublic will most likely still be around - teaching, debating, home of Patriots, media watchdog, uncovering the truth, protecting the Constitution and our way of life.

Thanks, JimRob!

The above is another great source for information on Saddam's connections to Al Qaeda. I throw that one at libs. alot since it's compiled mostly from mainstream media sources, including liberal ones like the New Yorker and the Guardian.

Also, Stephen F. Hayes' great book "The Connection: How Saddam Hussein's Collaboration with Al Qaeda Endangered America" is a fantastic read and a credible and compelling compilation of the evidence Saddam worked with Al Qaeda. It's a must-read.

This is my entry page into FR. Hopefully the upcoming hearings will boost this book. There certainly is no doubt that there was and ongoing deadly relationship between Iraq and al Queda that the Traitor Media has lied about ever since 9/11.
