I'm looking for any Freepers out there who are in the gas/service station business -- particularly those who are familiar with the market research services that Lundberg Survey, Inc. (LSI) offers. I have a couple of questions about a business opportunity that has arisen, and I want to get some informed, intelligent input from anyone here who might be in a position to help.
I don't have any specific info except that Lundberg (used to be the Lundberg letter) is a company that collates and reports gas prices.
My Dad wrote the software that they used about 25 years ago to collect (via a timeshare mainframe) the data. Supergeek trivia: he wrote in APL, a symbolic programming language
Dad's gone and I'm reasonably sure that Lundberg has updated their data collection methods.

I'll be doing some research into Lundberg's methods soon, but in the meantime I was hoping to find someone who is familiar with the site selection process for gas stations and may have used their data in the recent past.
I have gas sometimes, but I'd hardly call myself an expert.
