 Prayers are requested for my nephew, Jeff. Jeff, a Corporal in the Marines, was involved in a mortar attack on his humvee in Iraq. Doctors had to take a vein from his back to save his leg. He's had plastic surgery on one of his feet and he almost lost his nose. He is having flashbacks of seeing his buddies around him in the vehicle getting killed. He is on about 30 different meds. This was his second tour to Iraq since joining the Marines in September of 2002. |
Prayers sent for your nephew and all his friends involved in the attack. I also ask the Lord to protect all of our soldiers fighting this enemy that hates us because we love You. Lord, hear our prayers. Amen
We echo the prayer of Simcha for Jeff and his recovery.
We give thanks to Almighty God for saving his life and continue to pray for his total recovery.

I am praying for Jeff and his family and all of his Marine buddies.
I have more information about my nephew, Cpl. Jeffrey Valluzzi. The doctors had to take a large muscle out of his back to save his leg. They say that he will never be able to do pull ups or push ups again. They say that he will never run again. He has a steel rod in his leg and the leg is turned in and toes are curled under. He has had skin grafts but I don’t know how many and I think there are more to come. They remove the cast every other day to do physical therapy to try and get the leg as well as possible. They will retire him but not until they see how well they can get the leg. At first they wanted to just lock it into place and retire him at 100% but now they are going for 70%. He is 21 years old and beat to shit but at least he's alive. He is suffering very badly from post traumatic stress syndrome and I hope he is getting the proper therapy. Sleeps all the time and doesn't talk much.

Oh, dear. He's a live. He'll walk again. With therapy, he will probably heal his mind. May God grant him strength for his rehabilitation ahead.
