Why couldn't Rush choose one of these organizations? (perhaps we should file Christian cases to the ACLU?)
You can join the fight against the ACLU and their ilk by becoming involved with and supporting the following organizations:

Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) - http://www.alliancedefensefund.org

Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) - http://www.thomasmore.org

American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) - http://www.aclj.org

The Rutherford Institute - http://www.rutherford.org/

Stop the ACLU Coalition (GREATLY ORGANIZED ACTIVIST SITE..PLEASE JOIN) - http://www.stoptheaclu.org

Here are a few examples of how two of those organizations are fighting back:

ADF Contacts Over 3,600 School Districts Over Attempts To Censor Christmas

ADF: 700 lawyers ready to fight ACLU lawsuits

ADF: Pentagons' Warning About Boyscouts Is Absurd

Thomas More Law Center: Town of Palm Beach Pays $50,000 In Attorney Fees Apologizes To Women In Nativity Lawsuit

If I recall he didn't ask them to help him.

They just jumped in to help protect everyones rights, or so they are always saying. ha ha

Although I think Rush said that if they wanted to help him, he didn't mind.

Small point but at least he didn't ask them.

I don't think Limbaugh himself had anything to do with the ACLU getting involved. He didn't ask them to, and he's mentioned their involvement only in passing when commenting on his case. He sure isn't plugging the ACLU.

Having said that, however, I wish he would have gone on the air early on and publicly told them "Thanks but no thanks." Maybe he felt at the time that he needed all the friends he could get.

Hey Jay, Rush has been using the Landmark Legal Foundation. He and Mark Levin are real close.

Rush did not "choose" the ACLU.

They are not representing him.

The ACLU has filed a "friend of the court" brief explaining their position on medical privacy to the judge and how it applies to Rush's case.

Rush had absolutely nothing to do with it.

I cannot believe that the ACLU would do anything to "help" Rush...they are doing this for their own agenda driven reasons and for that alone, if they can "piggyback" on Rush's case it gives them some free publicity.
