I applaud Senator Biden for this statement to Europe, but c'mon! Start by talking to folks like Senator Boxer, you maroon!

(Note: got link from Drudge - did a search on BIDEN and the latest post was from 1/14, so unless someone has posted this while I've been typing I did check)

And who appointed Biden as ill-will ambassador to Europe?

About the only good thing he had to say.

'"I spent a little time in Europe recently, and I have one simple message: Get over it. Get over it. President Bush is our president for the next four years, so get over it and start to act in your interest, Europe,"'

Once in a while, the senator has a lucid thought.

Biden needs to talk to the DNC and blue states, too. After all, we survived the Clinton years.

He actually told Europe to "get over it"?

And the Dems pride themselves on "diplomatic skills"? roflmao!! Oh, ick. This is gross. Regardless of how awful France has been during 911, Bush Candidacy -- one does NOT speak to another country this way in an official capacity. I'm disgusted by how Biden is disgracing the US with this type of "chit-chat" so-called "counsel". Whether France gets over it or not, is NONE of the US's concern.

Hey -- Biden? Who's side are you on?

I'm guessing Biden's stock at DU has just dropped dramatically.

Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Del., urged Europe to "get over" the fact President Bush was re-elected and work with the United States on common problems.

Not to diminish his statement...but, he should turn around and say the same to many in his own party.

And Biden should have added that it will be Bush(Jeb)/Cheney for the 8 years after that.

He needs to say the same thing to members of his own party!

For a Dem, I like Biden. Always have. Not saying I agree with him on anything, but he seems to be no-nonsense sorta guy, at least as much as you can be in Washington, and I appreciate that.

Stopped clock. Look at him now, while he's accurate. In a couple minutes, he'll be a blithering idiot again. Let's savor the moment.
