I wouldn't scoff.
I know G.W.B. was the answer to years of prayer. Since his first election I have prayed almost unceasingly for him. This increased dramatically as Nov. 2nd crept forward.
I haven't one shred of doubt he is the right one to lead our country at this time.
Statements such as this and yours frighten and anger others that do not understand Faith, doesn't mean it isn't True.
The first time I really sensed it was at the Convention, and I started praying more for him and for his election than I have ever prayed for anything other than my own family.
That's why I can take most of the barbs here on FR about 'cult of personality, kool-aid drinker' stuff.........because it is the polar opposite of the truth.
The foundation for most of our admiration is spiritual, and I think that's why so many of us fight for him no matter the cost. He's worth all our loyalty, because he is God's servant, and is acting in obedience to HIM.
I also suspected the polls as being rigged, but then that's in keeping with my predilections for paranoia. I saw the exit polls after I had already cast my vote, but the exits wouldn't have prevented me from going to the polls anyway. I admire the pagan courage of never surrendering. But I admit when I first saw them that my heart quailed, if only for a moment. My reason said not to believe it, but sometimes feelings aren't cooperative. Fortunately I noticed that the polls listed Michigan twice; once as MI and again as Mich, and somehow gave different numbers for both. That certainly aided me in dismissing the bogus polls. And so, I am elated that the machinations of the Left came to naught, and that the Popular Will has hoisted W onto our collective shoulders for another 4 years. Can't wait until Thursday.
Very true (despite the fact that I don't agree with his stance on open borders or CFR).
Wish I could watch the ceremony live on Thursday. Will have to make do with catching it on tape afterwards. I still have this immense sense of joy at our victory. We fought the Entire World and some of own, and won. Miraculous.

Thank you. This last November, I prayed, held hands and WEPT with two women at the Republican Victory Party in Ontario, CA, praying for humble righteousness and against the enemy--visible and especially unseen--against the cheaters.
THANK GOD for a YES answer--and a wake-up call to us how we must take back our schools so kids grow up to be Americans and not U.N. subjects!

Yes, I understand that it's on again. What I'm saying is, I can't watch it...I live in Los Angeles, and I have my cable box on to channel 32, and I cannot watch it. That same lame message is on my screen. I was simply asking if someone was going to tape it, or had done so already.

The Parade magazine in the paper today had an article on Laura Bush. It was well done I thought. They are a solid couple.

For me it was this, if the country elected Al Gore, that would mean the people OK'd the 8 years of Clinton and his horrible behavior.
