DOWN SANDY'S PANTS
New York Post ^ | 1/15/05

Posted on 01/15/2005 12:50:51 AM PST by kattracks

[snip]

First, Berger "knowingly" stuffed handwritten notes he'd made from the documents down his socks without submitting them for a required review.

Then he took original classified documents out of the archives entirely. When officials demanded their return, he said some of them had been destroyed.

Everything, he says, was "inadvertent," or the result of "sloppiness."

Among the missing documents are multiple drafts of an after-action memo by Richard Clarke reviewing al Qaeda attempts to attack America during the millennium celebration. The memo reportedly identified weaknesses so "glaring" that only "luck" prevented an attack on Clinton's watch.

Instead of being outraged, Democrats have laughed the whole thing off as "typical Sandy."

But would Clinton & Co. be laughing if, say, Condoleezza Rice had been discovered sneaking top secret documents out of the White House in her bra?

Well, some of those top Democrats now find themselves being grilled by the grand jury — with more to come.

Here's hoping the feds stay vigilant on this one — and hold those responsible for this outrage accountable.

Typical Sandy" I believe that this is "Typical Clinton Administration". Removing Top Secret Documents, making Unauthorized copies oy Top Secret Documents!

For the Clintons and their lackies to say this type of behavior is Typical tells anyone with a shred of a Brain all they need to know. I certain;y hope the Feds follow through on this, but doubt it. When will they ever release all of the Papers on Clinton himself that are being held in New York by some Federal Clinton operative that the people will never see?

If some of the documents show how clinton messed up security during his administration, it may be that he is invloved in this. I would love to see him called before the grand jury.

Sloppiness? Sloppiness?

If Sandburglar is so sloppy, why did he not get any on his blue dress?

Maybe he can learn organizational skills in an 8 by 10?

I've thought for a long time that this is how the libs think: They (libs) have no morals so they can "laugh it off" when they get caught, but when it's US, they say "But you HAVE morals and should KNOW better!"

Typical? It's good to know that the clintons (co presidents) thought so little of this country's National Security, that they kept this man in their administration.

There once was a Burglar named Sandy
Whose pants made him look downright randy
But the lump in his drawers
When he walked out the door
Was 'Top Secret', not that of a dandy!

It would be true to form if someone discovered "water" marks on those documents.

I think it's already been established that Sandy was there at the behest of Clinton. Unfortunately, you can be sure that the documents that would make Clinton look bad are the one's that were "accidentally" destroyed. The only good news is that it's actually before a grand jury. I can't begin to imagine the media's reaction had this been Condi Rice doing the same thing at Bush's request!

This man should be in jail. If I pulled any of these stunts in my job, DSS and the NSA would see to it that my life became a living hell.

By law, Berger man should at least go to trial.

If any member of Free Republic did the same thing they would be in Leavenworth already.

We can't have one justice system for citizens and another for government officials.
