GREEN BAY, Wis. - Randy Moss broke such new ground with a disgusting gesture after his game-clinching touchdown catch Sunday that Fox television refused to replay it - until the postgame show.

The star receiver shot a fake moon at the Lambeau Field crowd, pretending to drop his pants, then rubbed himself on the padded goal post. It made previous controversial celebrations by NFL receivers Terrell Owens and Joe Horn look like harmless child's play.

No, just have his team forfeit the game. That would cure this kind of stuff once and for all.

probably a 5 figure fine and a warning that you will be tossed from the next game if you do that and suspended in the future..knowing the NFL's habits..but it was pretty pathetic..

everyone needs to lighten up. This was done all in good competition. Anyone who has been to a Vikes game when they're playing the Packers knows, there's nothing better than rubbing it in their faces while we're taking it to 'em. As for the celebrations, there should be no ban on excessive celebration in the NFL it just adds to the flavor of the game...lighten up old timers!

You're right. Let's take away every threshold of decency in football.

Heck, let's just do it everywhere.

I'll probably masturbate in church this Sunday.

I think it was Al Michaels who said something to the effect of that being a classless act, and lamenting the fact that they'd showed it on TV.

During the game, when it was 17-0 Vikings, I heard Moss yelling at fans saying "check the M-F-ing score". All that talent, and NO class whatsoever.

Some people are too stupid to have long careers (some defensive back will some day repay him).

Wonder what the fans were yelling at him earlier in the game.

Somehow I suspect it wasn't "Good Luck, Old Chap."

Yeah, he couldn't believe what they had just seen and seemed seriously upset that they had just shown it on national TV.

Terrell Owens is not only a great football player, but a classy (if exhuberant) entertainer who "performs" his touchdown celebrations with a twinkle of humor in his eye. Comparing a player with the decency, honesty, and humor of a Terrell Owens with a crass, selfish juvenile like Randy Moss is ludicrous.

I'm a football fan who says stuff like this does NOT belong in the game of football, no matter how big the rivalry is. I think it demeans the game.

The way to show that it's good competition and in-your-face is to get out there and play your fannies off and win the game, not by acts like this.

yeah guys , its just the elite black athlete, acting like an elite black athlete.

Why would he change anything now that he is a millionaire? classless people often times have no reason to act with class.

They were probably taunting the heck out of him. I saw a few signs that said things like "Randy Moss, leave early, avoid the rush" and "Leave, already".

I don't think that belongs in the game, either.

You're an idiot.

Good competition is just that... GOOD. It means high fives, and chest thumping. It doesn't include staged lowclass performances.

lighten up old timers!
Spoken like your average clueless neophyte.

IMHO I had no problem with signing the football and throwing it into the stands, i even have no problem with him saying look at the score but this is un necessary
