I certainly appreciate the ping. It's been posted here before (and debunked on snopes.com, IIRC), but please always feel free to ping me to anything kitty-related.
I had to give my cat, Magic Bear, a lion cut when I first adopted him. He was a longhaired tuxedo cat who'd been on the streets for who knows how long, and his fur was just a mess. We had no choice.
When we got home from the groomer, Magic bolted into the garage and hid in my husband's Austin Healy for three days. For weeks he refused to go outside and face the ridicule of the neighbor cats. Poor baby.
I thought it was "godzirra"
