Every initial explosion is thought to be a bomb by witnesses.

Could be a gas explosion, or something like that.

Let us know what it ends up being.

Regards,
Joe

There was an explosion in a Minneapolis suburb too:

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2004/12/28/national2051EST0671.DTL

An explosion leveled a small commercial building Tuesday, killing three workers and critically injuring a fourth.

The blast in this Minneapolis suburb caved the single-story building into its empty basement, sheriff's Capt. Robert Aldrich said. The site was strewn with concrete chunks, cinderblocks and shreds of office furniture.

A gas leak was the most likely cause of the explosion, but nothing was immediately ruled out, Aldrich said.

Explosion rocks Muskogee area

An explosion rocked Muskogee and surrounding towns Tuesday night.
The blast shook windows and rattled homes from Warner to Tahlequah to Taft and beyond.
Early reports indicate an explosion at Yaffe Iron & Metal Co. Inc., G and Lexington streets.
Windows were blown out at businesses in the area, including Lakeland Shopping Center and the new Dollar General. Police reported looting at Lakeland at 8:30 p.m.
A command post was established at G Streets and Independence Avenue.
Fires were reported in the area, making it difficult for authorities to work the scene.
Casualty reports were not available at 8:45 p.m.
Doris Peavler of the Gooseneck Bend area said she saw a flash of light.
“It just shook the house,” she said.

We are being told it was a steel processing plant, rumors are that it might have also been a faulty furnace - though not confirmed.

There is also a gas pipeline underneath this building. Also the building is said to have been competely dimolished it was the size of a ''football field''. also, windows were shattered up to 2 miles out, channel 8 is reporting that the blast has been felt as far away as vianne, a town some 30 miles away. I don't know if that is hype or not though.
