PA Academic on PA TV: Killing of Jews is Mandatory

Much media attention has been given in recent weeks to a reported "drop" in PA incitement. Unfortunately, while there have been some changes in PA TV, the same hate messages continue to be espoused -- just by different speakers.

For example, world attention has brought pressure on the PA to change the content of the Friday sermons, in which religious leaders have repeatedly called for the genocide of Jews. The PA has not eliminated the message, however, but has merely transferred it to another framework.

For years, the PA religious establishment has repeatedly portrayed the killing of Jews as a religious necessity. Today, PA TV chose to rebroadcast this same call to genocide as a historical necessity -- this time from a senior PA academic rather than from a religious leader. Dr. Hassan Khater, founder of the Al Quds Encyclopedia and a TV lecturer, cited the identical Hadith - Islamic tradition attributed to Mohammed - that the religious leaders have used to demand this genocide. This was part of a lecture focusing on what he described as the war of the Jews against Palestinian trees.

These were his words quoting the Hadith: "Mohammed said in his Hadith: 'The Hour [Day of Resurrection] will not arrive until you fight the Jews, [until a Jew will hide behind a rock or tree] and the rock and the tree will say: Oh Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him!'" The continued teaching that this Hadith applies today could well be a dominant factor driving terror against Israeli civilians. By depicting redemption as dependent on Muslims' killing of Jews, the PA world view presents this genocide as a religious obligation and historical necessity -- not related to the conflict over borders, but as something inherent to Allah's world.

There will be no chance for real peace until the PA and the Arab nations stop preaching hate. It will take at least a generation to even begin to undo what 80 years of incitement and hatred have done.

The Palestinians are their own worst enemy. This is sad to see, but it's nothing new. At least this person and others over the last few weeks, have been willing to tell the truth about their desries. Their own words damn them worse than anything Israel could say.

Inciting to Genocide:
PA Racism and Anti-Semitism

Introduction:
A significant and dangerous message of the Palestinian Authority is that Jews are to be hated and killed because of an inherently evil nature. Jews are said to be the cursed enemy of God [Allah] and killing Jews has been repeatedly presented as a religious obligation. PA leaders preach that the battle with Israel is not merely over borders but to kill Jews thereby bringing the Resurrection. The Hebrew Bible, the Talmud, and Jewish traditions are distorted, presented as having hateful and corrupt content.

Mohammed Demands Muslims Kill Jews PA academic and religious leaders teach that Islam is at war against Jews. They cite Islamic sources to demand Jews be hated and killed. Tens of times in recent years they have taught the Hadith (Islamic tradition attributed to Mohammed) demanding Muslims kill Jews, is a current obligation, in order to bring “the Hour” - the Resurrection. Two examples: [Dr Hassan Khader, founder Al Quds Encyclopedia, PA TV July 13, 2003] and Dr. Ibrahim Maadi, PA TV Apr. 12, 2002] The Palestinians repeatedly use Islamic sources to defend this religious hatred, even demanding the killing of Jews as a current obligation and the will of Allah. At least four times in recent months Palestinian religious leaders have taught publicly that the following Hadith (Islamic traditions attributed to Muhammad) is an authoritative directive of Islam today, expressing Allah’s will that obedient Muslims kill Jews. Murder of Jews is God's [Allah's] Will: Jews must be killed and butchered. Everywhere you meet Jews, kill them. It is forbidden to have mercy on a Jew. - All this and more expressed by a senior PA religious leader. PA Academic Leaders Malign Jewish Tradition: A common PA libel is to distort Jewish tradition, depicting it as having evil and racist components. Arafat’s Advisor on Education and Head of the PA Public Library, Jirar Al Kidwa, teaches, during his educational TV program that the Torah and Talmud instruct that Jews may kill “Goyim” - non-Jews. Note to Ibrahim: Killing Jews is not as easy as it once was. The Jews shoot back now and have gotten pretty good at it. You might have some initial luck killing their women and children in bus bombings but once you get them mad, let me tell you, an armed mass of angry Jewish men is not something you're going to enjoy dealing with.

I think its appropriate to say most American Jews have seen what Muslims in Europe have done to Jews who live there, and know it can happen here just as easily if the put themselves in a position that makes them vulnerable.

The ones who dont understand that are probably pretty dense.

My question is this:

Do American Christians, especially pro-Israel Christians, know this could happen to them just as easily as it could happen to a Jew?

The Muslims condemn this group as much as they do Jews, and often in the same breath.
