It is now clear that Dino will never sit in the Governor's chair. Let me be the first to contribute to his campaign to oust Maria Cantwell in 06. I know the flights are long, Dino, but you can do it.

I believe the numbers mean that his pre-manual-recount lead (42) has increased by one to 43.

He was never going to win this, they were going to recount every count he was winning until they get one where he loses and then they will demand that it be over immediately. But hopefully Washingtonians will remember this next time.

King County has not reported in yet. They're waiting to see how many votes they need to produce for Gregoire.

You arn't understanding what's going on. All that means is Rossi is now up one vote from where he was, which was up 42 votes. So now he is up by 43.

No need to panic yet. He'll still win if the magical re-appearing ballots in King County are shown to be the frauds they most likely are.

Prior to all the shinanigains in King, i.e. actually just recounting the votes that were cast and counted before, apparently Dino actually picked up 15 votes.

It all comes down to the canvassing board's 'found' votes. If they are counted, we probably lose. If they are exposed for the frauds they all but certainly are, we win.

Probably right. On the other hand, Daschle and the democrats are probably wishing they had never stolen the 2002 election from Thune. Cantwell is up next.

The amazing thing is that the county-by-county changes are pretty much equivalent. All look like "within the margin of error" stuff -- unlike what would SURELY happen if the Republicans were not guarding this henhouse like the family jewels....and if Dino loses, this surely will to to SCOTUS, having WON the first two counts.

For those of us not intimately involved with this recount, what is going on?

Is the Dem or the Republican going to win?

What has happened as a result of the recount?

Thanks

He had gained as many as 77 votes in the recount. Now he's only gained 1. That still puts him up by 43.

Pubs should do the same...."OOOOOOHHH Looky here, found some ballots in the corner of the coke machine"...REMEMBER every vote MUST count! Plant them in Kings county!!! Simply as that!

Do a search by clicking on the keyword "ROSSI" in one of our threads, and it will bring up all the threads on the topic. This way you can see the timeline.

OK, so we've had like 20 threads on this sickness where we rehash *HOW* we are getting screwed. Fine. Now what. Lets use the rest of this thread to discuss how we, the outraged voters and Republicans who have seen our successful campaign stolen by lying and cheating Democratic operatives in King County react.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT ???!!!???

1. Try harder next time. This has been widely suggested and is kinda how we got Daschle. Cantwell is not a juicy a target, but it is better than nothing.

Still this seems wholely inadequate. We need to do that SURE, but we need to do more, much more, visible soon to show our CONTEMPT, ANGER and UNWILLINGNESS.

2. Giant Rally in the capitol. Everyone in Orange. Stop the Theft! Return the real winner!!

Problem: can we get people to turn out, esp. in the middle of the holidays when this thing is going to be decided? 3. Citizen Initative: hit back! Hurt them bad. Defund something they care about. Latte tax? End all public transportation projects?

4. Going away present from the R's in House. Bill requireing tax increases to get a 7/8 majority in the house. Bill making that bill repealable by a 7/8 majority.

5. ?? Other ideas?
