Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a west Houston Goodwill store employee in an apparent robbery that sent another worker to the hospital Monday night.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was shot to death about 8:15 p.m. inside the store in the 2700 block of S. Highway 6, investigators said. The victim was found dead in the back of the store near an open and empty safe. Another employee, a pregnant woman, was taken to a hospital for observation but had no obvious injuries, police said.
Killing a Goodwill employee....And the insanity rolls on.....
That's just wrong.
Hang 'em.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Hang `em High! Of course the employee could have utilized a 44 automag as standard retail store equipment. After all, this is Texas. The death should have been the perp...not the one serving the poor.
The guy was older. I don't fault him
Maybe he couldn't get to it...
Very bad.
Older? I am 53...and my draw and kill zone at 3 to 25 yards has an average of a two inch spread....whether using my summer buddy..a 38 special or my winter buddy...a Springfield 1911 45 semi auto.... Now that includes follow-up shots...

Yeah, well, not everybody is as good as you!
LOL!
Ouch....maybe I deserved that.... I just wish honest folk would arm themselves....and reduce the vermin among us.....
