I don't think the 'Rats will be able to do much with him in the confirmation hearings.
I'd love to see them try! He'd have them for lunch.
The Rats have been passing around the koolaid,indicating that Kerik was the one they could demonize.
Their big talking points are that he was the "member of the administration who claimed Saddam was behind 9/11," that he "worked for the Saudi Royal Family" and that he's "been the most vicious of the Bush attack dogs." Little problems, like he was never in the Bush administration or that he never said Saddam ordered 9/11 won't bother them.
Watch for the usual suspects to start mouthing off on this one.
So far the grumbling is that he's a "former dog handler for the Army who worked for the Saudis before hitting it big".
Which is like saying Franklin was a former kitemaker before becoming the ambassador to France.
