I had a thread pulled once. I was embarrassed and sad, because I thought it was a good thread. It was also the first thread I had ever posted after having been a member for almost 2 years. My first thread, pulled. I was bummed.

I have also has several posts deleted. I think I may be up to 3 posts deleted now. I understand why one of them was pulled, because posting an image of cross-hairs on Scott Ritter's face may not be the sort of positive statement that everyone can get behind. But a couple of the deleted posts were the same genius posts that I have been known for.

The only conclusion that I can come to is that my particular brand of genius is sometimes just too advanced for most people. Maybe that is what happened to your post. It just went right over our heads.

All I did was note that a radio-talk show host in Milwaukee was canned for using a term: wetb@ck which was used a month later on television in an episode of Green Acres. There was no acrimony/protest regarding that though the talkshow host was off the air for a couple of weeks do to protest. Whatever rule I broke it won't happen again. Thanks for your time, consideration and politeness.

Bad first day. If you're sincere, please stick around a bit. Get the 'feel' of the forum and try again.

We've had a lot of trolls trying to post inflammatory stuff and get the forum in trouble. Many of us are on hair trigger to blast these guys.

Occasionally a good guy gets caught in the crossfire. If that's the case, sorry.
