Nice to see that there is somebody perceptive enough to understand what, "I'm new here," means.
When I first got on here just a few short months ago, I spent time watching and learning. There are still many things I can't do. I learned quickly to find a thread that was similar to what I wanted and posted "private" replies to those I thought could quietly answer my questions. They were all great and I've learned that some questions are meant for quiet dialogue. It's just manners.
I see you've set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public.

An attitude like that from a newbie is unwelcome.
Comeon, you have to admit that FreeRepublic does have its share.
I'm waiting for the day that an owner of a conservative web site or blog site files criminal spam charges against these trolls. Also, hopefully the owners will then follow up with civil court suits.
That will could very interesting. Particuliarly in a civil court case where financial records are opened up to see if the trolls were financed by some left wing lunatic organization or individual.

In addition to intelligence, we occasionally exhibit a sense of humor.
"Ping" is one of the most prolific posters here on FR. He doesn't say a lot, but he stops by nearly every thread. He seems to have a lot of friends too.
I would imagine the "Wetbacks" was enough to get it pulled; we don't like that kind of talk around here.
Plus, a thread with that in the title probably went downhill from there.
Learn the rules before you start demanding answers.
And if you don't understand what I'm saying, maybe the "anti-intelligence" you claim is on FR was brought to the party by you.

I still really don't understand the "ping". If I type ping in the post it gets pinged to, me? Sorry for my lack of knowledge. Can you help teach me this once and for all?
