I received this in an Email today. I just thought I'd like to share it with you J Fifty Years ago (1954) This is what the "Great" RAND Corporation (Think Tank) thought a "Home Computer" would look like in the year 2004..............

See my comment #40...I posted those with a KEYWORD of Humor as well, but I was told that many people don't get to an article via a KEYWORD search. FYI, I'm not criticizing you...just letting "believers" know it was a hoax.

This got passed around among the people I work with a couple of weeks ago. A pretty good hoax, but one of the reasons the hoax works is that we're quick to take it at face value without looking critically at what's being presented. Now if Dan Rather had tried to foist it on me, that would have been a different story.

Are you sure this hasn't been Photoshopped? The guy looks a bit small w/r/t the console, and the lines of that console come from the 70s, not the 50s.
