"The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections voted Monday to reject one out of three of the 24,472 provisional ballots cast in the Nov. 2 election.
The bulk of the 8,099 invalidated ballots were determined to have been cast by nonregistered voters or registered voters who cast their ballots in the wrong precinct. Voters received provisional ballots at the polls on Election Day if their names did not appear on the voter rolls...
As county elections workers stood watch over a hand truck bearing 10 boxes stuffed with invalidated ballots, an ensemble of lawyers, professors and others who were active in voter registration drives made it clear that the board's decision won't quell the lingering disquiet about the possibility that some legitimate votes won't be counted...
"I find it inconceivable that over 5,000 voters in the county would wait an hour in the pouring rain to vote if they haven't registered," said Dr. Norm Robbins, a neurosciences professor at Case Western Reserve University who volunteered for the Greater Cleveland Voter Registration Coalition."

Stuff like that happens all the time....a person can think they are registered to vote, but they aren't due to some kind of error on their part or the county clerk. Sheesh, if I hadn't checked on my voter registration when I did, the same thing would have happened to my vote. The clerk had me down under my maiden name and married name....been married almost 7 years now, so don't know how that happened. Anyway, they tossed my registration without telling me....so I had to re-register to vote. These dems are just so delusional and desperate, they will say and do anything to change the election results.
Does this mean that we win?

My God I live in Ohio and did not know we had such and influx of Southern Floridians over the past four years.
I'm surprised it was only 1 out of 3 rejected. That says to me the county elections office has some serious problems if 2 out of 3 provisional ballot voters are properly registered but were for some reason left off the voter rolls.

That's why it's called voter fraud and stupidity. If you don't know or care enough to register prior to election day, you don't deserve the right to vote that day or to have your vote counted.
What is wrong with this picture? Let's assume I'm a new person to Cuyahoga County.
IT'S ELECTION DAY. I GO TO VOTE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE I'VE MOVED TO THIS DISTRICT. I'M NOT SURE IF I'M VOTING AT THE RIGHT PLACE.
I SEE THAT THERE IS A FIVE HOUR LINE OUTSIDE THE DOORS. DO I:
A. WAIT IN LINE
B. FIND OUT IF THIS IS WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO BE BEFORE WAITING FIVE HOURS IN LINE
C. COME BACK LATER IN THE DAY, WHEN THE LINE MAY BE A LITTLE SHORTER
D. VOTE IN THE WRONG PRECINCT AND LET THEM FIGURE IT OUT.
ANSWER:B & C ARE CORRECT. BEFORE WAITING IN LINE CHECK FIRST TO SEE IF I'M AT THE RIGHT VOTING SITE.
I'M TOLD THAT THIS IS NOT WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO VOTE. DO I:
A. LEAVE AND GO HOME
B. GIVE THEM MY ADDRESS SO THEY CAN DIRECT ME TO THE CORRECT POLLING PLACE.

I find it inconceivable that a supposedly educated man would be so naive regarding human behavior.
I also find it inconceivable that a PhD. professor doesn't have better things to do with his time at the end of a semester. Perhaps Dr. Robbing ride on the gravy train should be cut short so he can find a real job that requires his presence.
And I find it inconceivable that a person schooled in neuroscience could demonstrate such abject stupidity.

Provisional ballots are mainly given to people who are not registered to vote in the precinct they are trying to vote in. We had about 12 at our voting precinct where I worked on election day. Only one was counted. People move and forget to change their voter's registration. It was on the news for MONTHS before the election, to make sure you are registered thirty days before the election. My daughter drove home to vote, since she was still registered here. She is a college student. At the Republican HQ we had maps on the wall that showed people where they should vote. One of our volunteers even colored the map with color pencils, to show you where your house is, and where your polling place was. Anyone who was trying to vote, without making sure they were registered, got a provisional ballot. This will put them on the rolls in THAT precinct for the next election. That was the main thing we were doing with prov. ballots, getting the people registered for the next election. We required photo ID.
