That is one very funny quote! :-)
By what, Lieagra?
"Here's a suggestion -- if you get into a discussion with any of these kooks, let them know that you voted early and often for GW in Ohio. Tell them that your conscience has been bothering you over this and that you thought they should know how GW really won. You might also let them in on the further secret that there was an organized campaign to fly Republican 'multi-voters' into Ohio from states like Texas and Mississippi. That ought to be good for several displays of liberal-foaming at the mouth disease."
LOL! Good plan.
I worked the polls in Va. and I could say the poll workers/watchers all worked together to confuse the voters into voting for Bush.
BTW, I wonder how many people did a "write in" for Gore?
I could say that is why Kerry really lost FL.
They would lose their minds!!!
Oh yeah, bring it on. I'd like to find out how many illegal voters were signed up by ACORN and other Kerry groups. I personally think the reason he conceded so quickly is because he didn't want any investigations that would reveal just how many illegal voters his groups signed up.
Yeah, this nut that treats nuts is a nut himself. I may be wrong, but I cannot see any scenario under which W is not sworn in in January. First off, the dems couldn't even erase W's tiny 1200 vote lead in FL, good luck in trying to do it with 130K+. Now if this was someplace like IL with crooked dems in charge, I would be very worried, but it's not. Kerry won't find many buddies in OH willing to filch, er, I mean flip, the state to him--the gov, senators, SoS, legislature are gop and the state supreme court leans conservative, if I'm not mistaken. And the elections board is bipartisan, not a joke like in FL where you had ALL dems deciding which vote was for who (Gore, of course).
If worse came to worse, the OH legislature could appoint their own set of electors to send to Congress (like FL was about to do in 2000).
But, if the dems have to keep up this buffoonery to be able to sleep at night, let 'em.
lol.
Absolutely! What is taking these people so long?
Just for the purpose of therapy, New York Times and CBS should publish a special edition for the next 4 years, with all pictures and references to Bush replaced by Kerry's. So news like "Bush ordered bombing of Tehran nuclear sites" shall read "Kerry ordered bombing of Tehran nuclear sites".
It was that old Republican black magic.
If only the liberals believed in God, then they could say we're in league with Satan. Absent that, I guess Halliburton will have to serve as a substitute.
Well didn't Halliburton make all those ballots, and voting machines? LOL
"...treated the Kerry partisans with intense hypnotherapy..."
A wonderful treatment; the first symptom a patient notices on waking up is a significant weight loss in the wallet (or purse) area.
In theory - 1/6 is when the electoral votes are officially counted before the Joint Session of Congress. If there's a dispute at that point in time, guess who votes on the issue? US Congress.
Yeah, and give a prize to anyone who can guess who they're gonna vote for. (Hint: It ain't gonna be the guy with the Frankenstein face).
No, I get it. If the situation were reversed, (Kerry ligetimately winning a solid mandate) I can imagine an awful lot of Freepers needing therapy.
Given the emotional instability of Kerry supporters to begin with, this is not the least bit surprising.
There are many issues here.
1. It seems this so-called "health expert" is counting on getting many patients for next 4 years.
2. AHA: American Health Association? i think they're happy because of #1.
3. Bush is blamed because some people are mentally weak?
"So when the Electoral College meets on Dec. 13th and makes Bush's re-election official, do all these depressed Democrats go back into therapy again?"
Nope...it will be like that black day in 1929....liberals will be flinging themselves off of buildings by the dozens....and the IQ of America will jump 20 - 30 points in that span of time.
>> Now, it is true that electile disfunction is highly treatable.
> By what, Lieagra?
Nope. Just have them read "Unfit for Command".
If their brains don't melt, they'll at least
appreciate the bullet we dodged.
"a Boca Raton psychologist who treated the Kerry partisans with intense hypnotherapy after they proved unable to handle the reality of losing to Bush..."
re: "psychologist"
A highly debatable designation, scientifically speaking. How do you "cure" someone unable to handle "reality"? Wouldn't you (by definition) have to de-liberalize them - i.e., remove all the deranged grandiose liberal/socialist secular humanist Utopian fantasies and delusions? That must be some PhD program in Psych. I'd like to see the course listings. [irony]
