Whereas, the United States supplies 22 percent of the regular UN budget;
Whereas, powerful evidence now suggests a number of UN officials, along with leading political figures and businessmen from France and Russia, received illegal kickbacks from Saddam Hussein through the UN Oil-for-Food program;
Whereas, Russian firms received $7.3 billion in business from the Oil-for-Food program; French firms received $3.7 billion; and the UN raked in more than $1 billion in commissions on the oil sales;
Whereas, the U.S. Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations estimates that the former Iraqi regime made $17.4 billion in illegal revenues from the UN Oil-for-Food program - nearly double previous estimates;
Whereas, these pay-offs denied humanitarian supplies to the Iraqi people, allowed Saddam Hussein to build up his armed forces and enhance his personal wealth, and ultimately sabotaged the sanctions and the chance to avert the war in Iraq;
Whereas, this is yet another example of how the UN is rife with mismanagement, fraud and abuse; wastes countless billions of the dollars that U.S. taxpayers provide every year; and continues to use our money to work against our interests;
Whereas, it's critical we hold the UN accountable, stop these crooked UN officials and their French and Russian cronies dead in their tracks, and pave the way for them to go to jail;
Whereas, the UN Oil-for-Food Accountability Act calls for the United States to withhold 30 percent of its annual contribution to the UN over the next two years unless and until the UN takes certain steps, including authorizing the release of all documents related to the scandal and lifting the immunity from prosecution of those found guilty of corruption and abuse;
I, therefore, am signing on as a Citizen Co-Sponsor of the UN Oil-for-Food Accountability Act!

I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.
JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.
I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.
Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.
That charge is a lie.

Consider it signed. This Oil-for-Food swindle is the biggest, costliest case of organized theft in modern history, scanning dozens of nations, thousands of perpetrators, and the involvement of the top crooks in the U.N.
There 22 Billion dollard involved here, and the implications that Kofi Annan, France, Germany, Russia, etc. were ALL involved in a massive "scratch-my-back-and-I'll-scratch-yours" deal with the Iraqi tyrant Saddam Hussein, and that everything from diplomacy to their position on the war against Hussein were dictated by this fraud, should be HUUUGE news in the MSM.
But they hardly utter a peep on this story, while they replay every hour on the hour the tape of a U.S. soldier shooting a wounded terrorist pig, and their talking heads cry "Shame, shame!".
Why the hell am I not surprised?
Many countries in Europe are sorry they joined the EU. Once you sign one of those pacts, you give up your national sovereignty and much more.
