Deja vu, King County, Washington "discovers" new ballots
Washington Secretary of State ^

Posted on 11/15/2004 8:32:56 PM PST by GoldwaterBooster

Do I hear Gomer Pyle saying "Sooprise, sooprise?" Suddenly the vote counters in Democratic King County are "finding" a few more thousand "provisional" ballots than they thought they had. The thought that Dino Rossi could be the first Republican governor of Washington State in 20 years has the Dems a little terrified. Rossi, like Sen. Slade Gorton four years ago, has been leading since Election Day on Nov. 2. This morning he led by 1,900 votes. Tonight the Democrat leads by 150 votes out of 3 million cast.

Just assume for the sake of argument that all "provisional ballots" are provisionally Democratic votes. How is it that King County always manages to lose ballots and then find them again just in time when they figure out how many votes they need to overcome the GOP majorities in the Eastern counties of Washington? At least in Cook County, Illinois they used to steal enough votes BEFORE the post election day canvass. OK you Freepers in Washington, can you "find" any new votes out in Spokane?

Isn't there a "chain of evidence" rule that can be applied here?

Were the 400 votes in affidavit (all of which pro-rats) already counted? Please help me.

If not, the difference between Rossi e Gregoire is already 550 votes, while 4000 votes of King have to be counted and 3 other counties are pro rats! How in the hell...

Where do you get that they're provisional ballots?

That is what KOMO Radio is saying they are -- provisional ballots. No the 400 have not been counted yet but probably will be allowed according to KOMO.

In keeping with the best GOP tradition, I expect the Rossi campaign will grin sheepishly, concede, and walk away politely.

She should insist that the eligibility of each vote be verified.

"OK you Freepers in Washington, can you "find" any new votes out in Spokane?"

no we can't because we are not looking didly into any tossed provisional or absentee ballots here....

King county is so SPECIAL that their ballots need to be treated differantly than any of ours here in the rest of the state....

I am seeing RED I am so mad about this, again, again and again....

when will we ever learn?

John Ashcroft should immediately appoint a special prosecutor for any vote fraud case anywhere in the country. Vote fraud is not just a crime under state law, it is also a crime under federal law. The Federal Voting Rights Act of 1965 makes it possible to prosecute any person for entering into a "conspiracy to dilute the votes of legal voters." This old school manipulation by county clerks has to stop.

I checked my Liberal Dictionary and "provisional ballot" is defined as "totally made up BS".

It's time for stiff minimum sentences for these a-holes...10 years in a hard federal prison and $100,000 in fines to be paid even if they have to sell their home, have no money for food or healthcare (if they even pay for that) and force their children into slave labor.

I agree. If a few (no matter which side they are on)can be made an example of this wouldn't be tried as often.

**I was a poll worker/watcher for the Republican Party and the "real" poll workers caught the very last voter of the night sneak a ballot outside. They busted him and it was a really big mess. I never heard what eventually happened to him, but when I had to leave he was still being held (over an hour) and his "vote" would be put in the ~provisional ballots~ cat. until everything else was worked out.

I have several stories about Nov. 2nd, but this one is the most interesting. It is long story that I'm sure no one cares about now, but I learned a lot, and wish I could find out what happened to him legally!

Probably OT, but I fear this is what the RATS will try to do with the recounts in OH.

Could It Be That Florida Democrats Are Too Stupid To Vote?

"...investigative reporters James and Ken Collier, authors of Votescam which was published in 1992 while Reno was Florida´s attorney general, have a different scenario. In 1992 they uncovered preprinted voter ballots in a warehouse rented by a Miami political candidate.

Following the advice of their editor, the reporters seized the evidence and took the illegal ballots to Janet Reno who promptly had the JOURNALISTS arrested, rather than to investigate how a candidate had preprinted ballots in his possession!"

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/752892/posts

"It is a time-honored tradition, perhaps refined by the Daley machine of Chicago, to hold vote counts until the last minute. This way, the machine could figure out just how many votes it needed to come up with close the gap and "win."

We knew this was taking place in these three counties on election night 2000, when the three Florida counties took so long to report - but conveniently closed the gap between Bush and Gore."

Does anyone remember that story on Election Day of about 20 GOP cars in Milwaukee getting their tires slashed? Milwaukee police arrested the son of a newly elected Democratic congressman and a Virginia Democratic official who was in Wisconsin to campaign. What a class act the national Democrats had going this year. Attacks on Bush-Cheney offices all over the country and never a peep of protest or condemnation from John Kerry.
