Goldwater Booster attended the 1960 GOP Convention in Chicago as a page and wound up leading a “band” of Arizona Indians playing instruments during Barry’s floor demonstration. He then attended the 1964 convention at the Cow Palace and first heard Ronald Reagan introduce Barry’s kids at the Masonic Auditorium. He also attended the 1980 convention in Detroit as a Reagan delegate. He missed the 1860 convention at the Wigwam in Chicago but nevertheless worked on Lincoln’s campaign in the fall. He is for the GOP and still thinks Henry Clay on his worst day would have been better than Andy Jackson on his best day.
