Stroebele for Islamic Holiday in Germany (Commie Wants to Replace Christian Holiday by a Muslim One)
Reuters Deutschland ^ | 15 November 2004 | Reuters Deutschland

A rough summary/translation (excuse my bad English): Christian Ströbele, a prominent member of Schroeder's green coalition partner (enviro wacko-turned former (?) commies)suggests to replace a Christian holiday by a Muslim one.

Stroebele who had also contacts to the terrorist organization RAF (at least) in the 70s: "I would welcome a legal [Muslim] holiday, say at the end of the fasting month Ramadan." As a compensation a Christian holiday should be abolished. An Islamic holiday meant an social upgrading for the 3 Million Muslims in Germany. "These signs are necessary after the events in Holland", Stroebele said.

Bavarian conservative home secretary Beckstein replied: "This proposal shoes that the Green Party wants to sustain their blue-eyed multi-kulti-politics".

Disgusting. Here I have a Holiday for the Mohammedans: They can celebrate the pedophile acts of Mohammed on the 34th of Novemeber.

Well, hell, Stroebele...I think the events in Holland indicate that you should go ahead and push to become an Islamic Republic in the middle of Europe.

Let's not stop with merely declaring new national holidays in support of an assassination.

What a freakin whack job, thinkin that because of the goings on in Holland Germany should replace a Christian holiday with something Islamic. Yea, a national holiday, that'll appease the extremists of the RoP.

How many "Christian" holidays does Germany celebrate officially? Christmas? Easter?

Thanks for the translation.

So for the islamofascists, assassination is no longer its own reward? /sarcasm

Go ahead, Germany. Take off the friendly mask and show yourselves for what you are. Why not just outlaw Christianity all together? I will live the rest of my life regretting the fact that the bombs were dropped on Japan and not you. It`s time for those troops to come home from Germany, Mr. President. It`s time for the U.S. to stop propping up the economies of welfare states like Germany and France. Feeding the hungry and helping the poor are Christian ideals, you obviously aren`t Christian anymore so we`ll not trouble you with OUR values anymore.

"These signs are necessary after the events in Holland."

Maybe Stroebele would also like to give car bombers their own parking spaces so they feel more welcome.

I don't know about the Preisers up north but down here in Bavaria they have a saint's day or something similiar it seems just about every second week. In fact, so prevalent are the holidays but so secularized are the folks, that when I ask the locals what the significance of the day off is they often have no idea.

I suggest they get rid of German Unity Day and replace it with "We love Muslims" Day. Maybe that would wake these people up.

Christian Holidays in Bavaria:

6 January (Epiphany)
Good Friday
(Easter Sunday)
Easter Monday
Christi Ascension Day
(Whit Sunday)
Whit Monday
Feast of Corpus Christi
15 August (Mary Ascension Day)
1 November (All Saints)
25 December (1. Christmas Holiday)
26 December (2. Christmas Holiday)

In other states there are usually 2-3 holidays less.

Since these holidays are a state affaire the commies have no chance (at least in Bavaria where almost nobody wants this scum of the earth).

Has anyone told Stroebele that the Muslims plan to change ALL of the holidays?

"Go ahead, Germany. "

The Green Party is a small minority, and is only in the gov't at all because Schroeder would rather truck with the likes of the Greens than form a Grand-Coalition with the opposition, which has been done often in the past when there was a close election with no party gaining the majority. His action to form a gov't with the Greens was unconscionable, IMO.

If Germany doesn't enact emergency legislation protecting it's historical roots from foreign influences now and in the future, they might as well kiss themselves goodbye as a distinct culture and people. Oh, it will remain deutchophonic, but that's about it.

Good Friday and Easter Monday come to mind. There are quite a few. As an American you get caught sometimes, finding things not open, and come to find out, it is a holiday.

I`m just sick and tried of Europe as a whole, France and Germany in specific. The more I hear about them the more I wish for the concept of time travel. I think the nuking of Germany and his girlfriend France would have been better than nailing Japan in hindsight.
