Good Question. But WAIT! There's MORE!
You see, dear folks, not only does Canada offer little to the world, it is financially nothing without the "bombastic" neighbor to the south. The bulk of their economy (as I recall) is connected to ours. Without a vibrant U.S. economy, the Canadians would be reduced to selling Harp Seal puppy pelts.
There is one thing they don't get from us. Malignant jealousy. That comes from their French lineage.
No they didn't !
Doom and despair is the order of the day.
Nope, it won't. You are going to be stupid forever.
Talk about proverbial fear mongering. Woe is us, all these great causes and the poor little people are all doomed because President Bush was reelected. Oh, what shall we do now.
I'm through sending these idiots notes. I changed parties in the nineties partly due to dopes like him. Obviously these cretins have a screwball, Marxist utopian dream that we are derailing, and they can't take it. I'm really sorry Mr. Levin, but your view of "reality", such as it is, does not square with mine.
Bob Levin, the writer of this swill, and, who, by the way, is an idiot, uses too many commas.
I'm glad you corrected that Pet - don't want anyone to get that word confused with the merlot-type wine that psychiatrists drink, called schardenfreude.
>The US will muddle through, it's muddled through before....<
Aw, Mr. Levin, I know just how you feel. I felt the same with eight years of the Clintonistas, but we made it through, as you said we did. Now President Bush has restored the dignity of the White House, and the security of the country, and has given countless thousands their precious freedom. So you see, it will all work out okay, and God is still in control.
;O)
So every vote for Bush was about gay marriage and abortions? Someone must have forgotten to tell me, because I voted for him because he doesn't believe in appeasement. I really don't care about gay marriage. And how exactly will George Bush make abortions illegal? "The world lost"- cry me a river. This wasn't their election. If the world is losing, its in Sudan where we are allowing genocide to take place. And in every place where there was a terrorist attack. Any liberals/"human rights activists" care about the blacks there? As for reason, its conservatives who defend it, liberals just whine about "feelings" and "the poor" and making big government try to solve all the problems. And "African Americans lost"- since when do all blacks think and act the same way? Isn't that a racist assumption? Gun control lost- good. In America, self defense is a right- we don't need to wait for the government to come and rescue us- it might be too late. What do these "tolerant" liberals tell someone who saved their family, or a woman who shot a potentil rapist, about owning a gun? As for "air and water"- it's not the government's responsibility.
Boo Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoo
Canada enjoys not having their asses kicked by the rest of the world, and spewing this crap, only because they are peering out from behind the pant leg of the United States.
They all lost? Why, because we decided to stop throwing money at these things in an attempt to either fix them or silence them? The world lost because the U.S. decided we don`t want to walk down that decadent road or because we decided if they want to go that direction they can destroy themselves plenty good without us. The poor? Ever wonder why the poor are poor or why the gap between the "haves and have nots" is growing? Noone ever got rich on welfare for one. Welfare is meant to keep the unwashed masses right where they are, not to bring people up. Democrats know this all too well. Every four years they travel far from their homes inside gated communities to convince the poor and downtrodden that the evil conservatives are going to take the food from their tables. They preach that they are the ones who give them their monthly check, their "assisstance". They keep the masses huddled together in slums(communes?) The rich spend money, they own business, they take part in commerce, they are producers not consumers, they invest for their futures and provide jobs for others. Stem-cell research? Why, because President Bush decided to put a cap on the funding the government gives to it? He didn`t cut funding, he didn`t make it illegal. He decided that due to the ambiguity of embryonic stem cell research that the government would not fund it. Any private company is allowed to continue their research, and any private company or citizen is allowed to fund it. If Michael J. Fox thinks this research can potentially cure what ails him, then he should donate his money to it. If I think similarly, then I have the right to donate to it even though it does not currently affect me. If I was fat, should I ask MJF to pay for a personal trainer for me? Cover the cost of my knee operation? Pay off my student loans? Repair the transmission on my piece of crap car? The truth is winning and will always win. Lying became a way of life under another administration and luckily, Ronald Reagan was there to squash it finally. This same ideology has seeped into the democratic party and has made it something else. The foreign press and populace, the liberals here and everywhere sound off about our "values being pushed on them" all the while refusing to concede that their lack of values has been pushed on us for too long.
Ah, Bozo, did it ever occur to you that the majority of Americans didn't like where the nation was headed...toward Godless Liberalism!
It's logical to assume that the U.S. national success is due to our going a different path then other...
Their are other "Canada" like nations... there are not other US's
These are the same idiots who can't figure out why Jimmy "the liar" Carter lost in 1980.
We should start serious anexation talks with the western provinces. leave east canada to the liberals and the homosexuals.
The only "Fear" vote was the democrat voting for government subsistence and fearing the thought of self-sufficiency..........
It's time to put Canada in it's place.
