Yet one more reason why Dubya deserved re-election.

It's not just a telephone snub. Other stories have pointed out that the US has canceled contracts with Spain's failing shipbuilding yard and refused to enlarge the naval facility at Rota. Big economic kick in the arse.

Zapatero is as stupid as the french. You don't insult and betray a man and then expect him to act like nothing ever happened.

It's even worse, Zapatero's defeated opponent, Aznar, visited the White House a few days ago in a private meeting with President Bush.

Somebody ought to tell these foreign idiots that loyalty runs deep in Texas, we remember friends - and - foes.

Uh, no. Zapatero has only done what the Spanish people had mandated him to do. Now Bush is only doing what we, the American people, have mandated him to do.

It's not that Bush has snubbed Zapatero. It's that the American people have snubbed the Spanish people.

Had Kerry been elected his nose would have been up there.

This is one of things I most like about the Bushies. Why be phony to those who have undermined you in the past? Screw them, and make it public. And make them have to answer for their actions. It's a beautiful thing to see.

You know, this article is so funny! I love Bush when he does stuff like this!

The thing is, Spain is a sovereign nation with an elected leader. They have the right to make their own decision about this war.

However, they also have to learn there are consequences to all decisions. Zapatera is being taught that lesson!
