Hamas political cheif, Khaled Mashal on Thursday morning accused Israel of killing Palestinian president, Yasser Arafat. "I say, and do not hesitate, that I hold Israel responsible for the crime of the death of Arafat ... All reports by doctors in the last two weeks indicate he was poisoned," Mashal told the Qatar-based Al Jazeera television by telephone.

Yup - he was poisoned. They slipped it to him in his corned beef sandwiches he got from the corner deli. Give me a break.
They should have killed the SOB if they are going to get credit for it.
Reminds me of some democrats who specialize in conspiracy theories. It's always somebody else's fault!
Yes I agree, Arafat was poisoned it was, however, self induced. He had taken the poison of hate for decades. Like any addict he started taking small doses and his body became acclimated to it so he had to take increasingly larger doses until finally his body could take no more. He now occupies a special place in hell right between the pits of Mr. Hitler and Mr. Stalin. HE WILL NOT BE MISSED!
PING to #12 :)
This is exactly why the air of secrecy regarding Yasser's fatal condition / illness is *exactly* the wrong atmosphere to create. It feeds the conspiracy minded, and mistrust.
When they interview a Palestinian he goes into the canned
talk, "Isreal caused it". They remind me of Democrats with
their "Lost more jobs than Hoover" canned talk.
