Cant post article due to FR restrictions but well worth a read.
Also, we must all work diligently in the coming months to convince progressives that the Democratic Party has let them down. They must abandon the party. Their only recourse is to join and work for the Green Party moving forward. I may even register as a Green Party member to swell their voter registration rolls. Divide and conquer.
Begin with putting all known progressives in your sphere of influence on the Green Party mail list from their website. Great fun. Start inundating them with information now.
they are truly pitiful.
God help them they have lost their minds
That's when I screamed at the tv....THAT'S YOU'RE PROBLEM!!!
As the article goes on to point out, the same thing is happening within Blue states, e.g., the fastest growing, most economically vibrant regions of California went Bush. The Dems difficulties in together a national majority are just going to increase with each election.
The GOP is strong in exurban and rural America. For the moment, the Democrats continue to dominate the nation's big cities, which help them carry a couple of states in many state-wide and presidential elections. Alas, the bad news for them is these strongholds are casting an increasingly declining share of the votes. Just consider how close the election was in four states Kerry won this year: MN, WI, MI and PA. Bush lost due to Democratic dominance of the urban core in those states - MN-SP in MN, MW-MD in WI, DT in MI and PB-PH in PA. For the moment, the votes are in these places. But Republicans are picking up strength elsewhere, in places Democrats overlook and dismiss. Sooner or later those four states will be lost to the Democratic Party and a huge belt of the country extending from PA to NV will be a giant sea of red. Demography is destiny and the Democrats are looking in the mirror at their own future. It looks grim.
ROFLMAO!!!
Just as a matter of information, partial birth abortion is STILL being done; if I remember correctly, several hell-bound judges held up its implementation, in spite of the fact that it was made law, was signed into law, and is the will of the majority of Americans.
