3.2 quake inside Mt. Rainier

Six quakes there since yesterday, the biggest a 3.2, all occurring inside the mountain at a depth of 1-1.5 KM, seismic activity as reflected above at the Longmire station VERY VERY similar to what happened on St. Helens in the months preceding the eruption.

That is majorly too close for comfort.
There is an increase in activity there.
Just hit the time vs depth plot of the recent earthquakes there.
Still not up to the level seen at Helens, but any increase at Ranier is something to watch.
Considering Helens and Ranier are relatively close together..
Stay safe out there.
Ranier may steam first befor eblowing.
It does have some fumaroles from what I understand.
