Not as active as Helens was, but still a bit of a worry.
Ranier is overdue for an eruption.

I suppose how much of a worry it is depends on how far you are from it.

I'm about 35 miles as the crow flies.

Overdue, and if I recall correctly, a blow of Mt. Ranier would have far more devastating consequences than that of Mt. St, Helen's.

I YI YI YI...I'm sitting here in my new house, some 60 miles from said mountain...it's big I tell you, damn big.

And the soil I'm sitting on, on the shores of Puget Sound, was deposited there by that mountain in millenia past. If Mt. Rainier goes, my oh my, there's going to be some very serious loss of life around here.
