Larry Sabato was just on one of the DC-area local stations, and just said something shocking - the reason it took forever to call Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina is that the exit polls had them for Kerry.
For Kerry!
Sabato also said that the exit polls also had at least two other states "wrong" — which is not to say they had the wrong winner, but that they had results that were immediately detected as out of whack

Zogby must have used the exist polls instead of his data.

So the exit polls are meaningless.
that's why everyone was saying to discount exit polls - they apparently suck as bad this time as they did in 2002 and 2000. Thankfully the mods decided to put a lockdown on all early exit poll results.
If they couldn't immediately detect something fishy in the South Carolina numbers, then they were wasting their own time.

Exit polls are stupid. Susan Estrich on FOX panties got all wet when she was talking exit polls. I hate her.
The media is clearly scared enough of a Republican President and Republican Senate confirming conservative Supreme Court nominees that it has publicized bogus exit polls to influence the outcome of the election.
Yes!!!! The MSM was touting those exit polls as a sure indicator. Just go home, Bush voters, all is lost. Dang, the media is ending up with egg all over their credibility.

I really dislike Sabato. He and Zogby are going to be big losers from tonight, having been the biggest Kerry supporters among the "impartial" guys. Zogby in particular is going to take a huge hit from this.
