Now coming out - No missing Fl ballots

Posted on 10/29/2004 10:41:49 AM PDT by bill1952

I've just started to hear on different news stations here in SE Florida, that they now believe, after checking the records, that there are no missing ballots, just unreturned ones.

Now, how did they think that they could confirm any such ballots with absentees, anyway?

Media nonsense, once again trying to make Florida look bad for partisan purposes.

Please go over to "kerry spot" on national review online. Internal sources saying Bush substantially ahead of 2000 pace in early/absentee ballots. Ditto Nevada, New Mexico, Hawaii, and so on. It great news.

Like the ammo story, they simply invent realities and hope people will buy into them.

I think the Dems have gone into Overkill/FUneral Pep-Rally mode and are destroying themselves. What non-partisan voter would trust the country to such rabid wackjobs?

But I saw them sending out more ballots, does this mean everyone get two ballots, they must all be DUmmies, they seem to be the only ones allowed to vote twice?

I'm glad Michael Moore was able to straighten this out.

I think that this is not good. The replacement ballots were sent out express mail. They will have to count them as there are no identifying marks on the returned ballots and they will come back anonymously. 50,000 extra votes to be used.

From NROnline's Kerry Spot:

Among early and absentee votes cast already, Bush has huge lead in FL, bigger than his advantage in Florida in 2000.

There’s a great contrast in the respective get-out-the-vote operations for Bush and Kerry. Around 25 percent of registered voters report being contacted by a Bush-Cheney volunteer, most often members of their church or community organization or neighbor. About 19 percent of registered voters have been contacted on behalf of the Kerry-Edwards campaign, but the vast majority of these contacts are by paid temps of the campaign, the DNC, or a related 527. Will the personal touch have an effect?

In Hawaii, the Bush campaign has quietly had its eye on this state for a while, and been building a surprisingly strong statewide organization with more than 2,000 volunteers.

Kerry put up ad about how bad the economy was, while Hawaii has one of the lowest unemployment rates in country.

In New Mexico, Bush is only few thousand behind in early/absentee ballots in Bernalillo county, a heavy Democrat county.

In Florida, the campaign expects Bush to end up with an estimated 100,000 vote advantage among early and absentee voters.

In Nevada, there is little expectation that this state will be all that competitive. Bush is competitive in Clark County (which includes Las Vegas). Right now Kerry leads 44 percent Bush 41 percent. Kerry needed over 50 percent out of Clark county to win NV. But Bush within a few thousands votes of heavy Dem county.

Finally, a big point of enthusiasm for the GOP is their deep bench of Bush surrogates who can garner big crowds and lots of media attention. The President is in New Hampshire and Ohio today, vith Ah-nuld. Cheney is going to Hawaii. Tommy Franks is in Florida, as is John McCain and former President Bush. Rudy Giuliani is in Iowa, Mitt Romney is in Michigan, and former President Bush will also be in Pennsylvania later.--National Review Online

Can you say MUWAHAHAHAHAAAAA!

OK.

Right.

Sure. So there are NO "missing" 20,000 ballots.

Alright.

Now, a question from the peanut gallery - since I'm bookmarking every voter fraud story in my Freeper Home Page under "fraud-year-state" and every media bias story we discuss on my Freeper Home page as "bias-year" ...

What do I call this one, since the MSM will ignore it as well?

Dems are revving up crisis after crisis to grab the headlines to stimulate mobs and an angry vote. Dems want an incident to justify claims of an illegitimate election after the fact. North Broward polling place down the street and everything is orderly, although line looks two hours long. We have a theory that many of the early voters will attempt to vote twice by voting on Tuesday. If their names have not been stricken from the rolls then they will vote again. Moore was here last night and drew a crowd of 120. My Liberal friends are at the point of hysteria.

They did mail a small batch, but it's my understanding that it's stopped.

Don't worry about duplicates. They won't be counted here, and there is a very good computer system that automatically rejects every ballot for prior voting.

Really, the GOP didn't turn and run in 2000, and it looks like they are pretty well prepared.

I'd be more worried about that nonsense in WI and MI.

Seems like every legal challenge to the current system here has fallen flat, from paper trails, to Nader's nails. :)

Also guys, I don't know any reason the Rats would really want these ballots to be returned anyway. More than not go to Bush.

Just evidence that it's a media non issue looking for a way to cry: It's Bush's fault!"
