I am voting for George W. Bush, because I trust him to keep us safe! !I, like many of my fellow Americans take my vote, and the consequences it has on the future of our country, very seriously. I feel as though I have an have an added burden resting on my shoulders because I have 5 wonderful children and 5 beautiful grandchildren, as my responsibility. Casting a vote for the leader of our country, is an ominous duty and I take my duty to my country and my loved ones deadly serious. The very fact that we are considering the single most important person in the entire FREE WORLD to keep it free, has made this task all the more daunting.
I have finally admitted to myself, that I am no longer young enough, to once again join the brave men and women in the military service of my country, especially in this most crucial war against these barbaric terrorist. So I join the battle with the most important weapon left in my control, my ballot.
I have to admit that for me, from the earliest days since the tragedy of September 11 2001, there was never was a choice as to who I was going to vote for as my Commander in Chief, and President. To make that decision, I didn't feel that I had to demonize his challengers, or overlook any of his flaws, to feel comfortable. I came to my decision for the most reliable and the simplest of criteria, he is a man that I can trust.
George W. Bush fits my templet as a leader that will be there when we need him, without the typical political motivations or legacy implications that might sway so many lesser politicians. He has proven over and over again, during the past 4 years, that above all, he is a man of his word. He isn't a cut and run kind of guy who is afraid to stand up to the pressures of a dangerous world. In other words, he possesses the needed, natural instincts it takes to get the job done even when the chips are down, even with his presidency at stake, with an election looming.
I have seen enough to convince me that President Bush, is a decent, strong, and moral leader, that will do what must be done to protect my family and my country. I like and respect both he and his loving wife, and believe that they will never bring shame to our nation, or the Presidency.
I will proudly give my vote to the only man in this race that I know will do whatever has to be done to keep my family and our country, safe.

Thank you, Carlo! I was looking at the pictures you have from 9/11 on your site and that one of Andrew Card telling Pres. Bush what happened is so surreal to me. How President Bush kept his composure, I'll never know. He's such a strong leader, it just makes me feel so blessed to have him as our President.
