On the Bumper of my SUV By Chely Wright
Lars Larsen Show

Posted on 10/29/2004 12:07:17 AM PDT by Primetimedonna

Okay, I know everyone gets upset with Vanity Postings, but I did a search and saw no discussions or postings regarding Chely Wright's song "On the Bumper of My SUV" I was listening to a re broadcast of the Lars Larsen show on my way home, and was blown away by Chely Wright as well as her song. You can read her story and hear a small clip of her song by going to her website On the Bumper of my SUV. It's a great song, and is a runaway hit with the troops in Iraq. Thought freepers who haven't heard of her and her song might want to look into it.

I'm ordering a copy through her website for me and a couple for friends. Part of the proceeds goes to Stars on Stripes, an organization that sends entertainers to the troops.

Thanks for doing that! I'm computer (and most technology) challenged, and didn't know how to do it. Your help and patience with us newbies is appreciated!

Did you like the song?

"MY Ding-A-Ling" by Chuck Berry was my favorite. How does the SUV song compare to the all time greatest song ever?

It's a song about the songwriter (who is a country western entertainer) got flipped off and cussed at by a woman because she had a Marine's sticker on the bumper of her car. It's a huge hit with the troops in Iraq, and well woth a listen!

PS I liked my Ding a ling too!
