WASHINGTON -- A pair of polls indicating that President Bush was slightly ahead of Senator John F. Kerry in traditionally Democratic Hawaii is prompting three independent groups that have been supporting the Democrat to consider advertising in a state whose four Electoral College votes equal that of hotly contested Maine and New Hampshire.
The Media Fund, MoveOn.org, and possibly Americans Coming Together, are expected to announce as early as today an array of activity, with the first likely to broadcast radio ads, the second possibly airing television spots, and the third possibly joining in the TV ads, according to high-level figures at the groups.

These are desperate times for the lib/dems.....
I'm mildly surprised though that there haven't been any further polls for Hawaii in light of the 2 most recent ones that show Bush with a narrow lead. You would think at least 1 or 2 polling firms would throw one out there or that the local paper in Hawaii would have commissioned one.
The first time I heard about Hawaii being in play was on Rush Limbaugh's show last week. Sweet news, indeed.
Hawaii Ping
L0L! Now they are scrapping for Hawaii?
MassRepublicanFlyersFan = The wrong political party, in the wrong state, with the wrong hockey team, at the wrong time.
With the 'rats in control Hawaii should be a "Workers Paradise".
A local paper did have a poll, the Hawaii Advertiser, that is the one that showed Bush leading narrowly and started all the excitement.

I find this remarkable bit a strategery so much fun.
While the Dems were guarding the front door (OH, FL, PA)...
Bush has sneaked in the back door (HI, WI, MN, NM, IO) and the Dems are caught quite off guard.
As a former Hawaii resident, I must say I never thought I'd see this day! It was always considered the Socialist Republic of Hawaii among my Republican friends.
Prayers are being answered right before our very eyes!!
Hawaii, if you can pull this off....Mahalo Nui Loa!!!!
First New Jersey is in play, now Hawaii? You bet it's desperation for the rats....and I, for one, am love'n it!
And might I add I miss the food soooooo much!!!
The thought of Zippy's, a Lau Lau plate lunch, and McCully Chop Sui...
Get active Hawaii!!!!!
