DARN....looks like we missed a lot of fun!
I was happy to see that many of my handmade signs were added to the float.......especially the 'Have You Forgotten' one of the WTC in flames.....I believe we need to keep reminding everyone.
However I didn't see the 'Support the Troops' signs....do you recall seeing them carried or on the float?
Darling hubby & I were at the campaign booths most of the afternoon & will also be on duty tomorrow morning after Church!
The response was tremendous...all the campaign buttons and Bush/Cheney signs are gone. We are getting more on Monday & we still have some Martinez & Harris signs.
I got more yellow ribbon magnets from Walmart tonight so will have them for tomorrow. All I brought today sold at cost!
Two kerry kampers come by looking for trouble.....they left quickly when I stated saying 'May God Bless You'...apparently they retreat at the sound of a prayer! Good to know for future encounters.......LOL!

I was rasied in SW Florida; I graduated from Naples High School in 1972. I know SW Florida like the back of my hand.
I moved to the Big Sky in 1977; but I go home often; three weeks this past spring. So many friends and so much family down there in the Sunshine State. Had a bunch of you Floridians visiting me at friend of mines Georgetown Lake cabin a week ago... It was awesome!

I have a question, are Florida republicans turning out in large numbers in the pre-election, election. right now we need a huge turnout in early voting, it is KEY people to overall success!

Can you explain to me why early voting is key to winning? I'm not voting early because I think it gives the unethical dems more chances to monkey with my vote.
Your vote is locked in that touch box and no one can diddle with it short of bringing a sledge hammer inside the booth.
Also, Dems say that when everyone votes on the same day, the long lines discourage the handicapped, the minorities, blah, blah. Things can be under much more scrutiny on election day for our Republican poll watchers if there aren't mobs waiting to vote.
