An influenza outbreak on the scale of the 1918 pandemic, while possible, is highly unlikely.
The fields of Epidemiology and Virology have progressed exponentially since 1918.
But that being said, having this very bad bug found in pigs is something to be watched very carefully.

It`s just odd that the guy heard on Coast to Coast AM this morning predicted pandemic akin to 1918 and later they find THE strain from 1918. creepy.
